Ben Folds is someone whose music I've never gotten all that much into, but every time I hear one of his songs, they are pretty good

BFF's 'WEA' got me through one of two REALLY rough partches of my life. (rufus's 'poses' was the other soundtrack of my misery). For that reason, both of those albums will ALWAYS be two of my favorites of all time.

* In 2001, he directed the music video for Rockin' the Suburbs, Ben's first single since the breakup of Ben Folds Five.
* In 2003, Ben played piano on the track "Why Does This Always Happen To Me?" on "Weird Al"'s album Poodle Hat&#8734;.
* In 2005, their paths crossed once more when Al provided backup vocals on Time, a track from Songs For Silverman.
