240 for me, but considering the max is 10,000...

What a ridiculous quiz! First five points, then ten, then eight hundred, then a million?

It's like a second-grader made this! "If you believe in Invisible Cloud Man, you get 10,000,000,000 Crazy Points!"

Well, I kind of believe in some of the questions, but not the same way as others usually believe them.

Yeah. Also the term deluded. Really?

Seems to me a person would need to buy in to the possibility that the existence of G-d could be a delusion so I don't see the point of doing it for me personally.

i got a 20

everyone is stressed over a quiz that doesnt even matter. RELAX!

This is the easiest test ever. All you have to do is pretend you believe in god.

I got 1995 and I could care less if im "deluded" to the scientoligist who created that video :whatever:

290. I'm moderately deluded, and don't you forget it.

I was nursing a 90 until question #8 (the 200 point question), where they basically asked me if I believed in heaven.

How did he come up with that point system, though? The fact that the quiz has such a huge "profoundly deluded" gap is just ridiculous. I've taken "what kind of [blank] are you?" quizzes in magazines that were more balanced in how many points they dolled out.

My number was way high and it made my e-meter go off.

I got the same score, same way. I disagree with the tone of the poll, it was an obvious jab at people with faith. The questions (and scoring for that matter) I thought were asinine in nature and just seemed inappropriate in tone.

If you take a test called "your god delusion index", you should be able to figure out it's a jab at people with faith in a higher power/being..or basically who believe in a god. So really, if you are a believer then logic should tell you what to expect from it. (much like it did for raybia)

ps i got a 5 (meditating on anything can help you understand it better...in my opinion atleast)

You know what's funny about that quiz? I looked over it again by Buddhist standards (a religion that doesn't even have a god), and got at least 205 points. Question #5 asks if meditation can result in better knowledge or understanding (5 points), and question #8 (200 points) is actually vague enough to include the concept of reincarnation (it only asks if you're likely to experience happiness after death if you follow certain guidelines, and keeping good karma will get you reincarnated as something better).

It really is an unbalanced quiz.

It was:o

But they think they are funny.

If you think about it, the reason some are only 5 points and one is a million is because they're are trying to assign a point value to the 'delusion' that they ask in the question.

Thinking something made the universe... eh that is a five pointer.

Believing that people will be condemned to a bad place after death and you'll go to a good place, all because you disagree... that's definitely more than a five pointer.

995 here highly deluded, but anyone is welcome to their own beliefs, its not my place to judge anyone.

Yeah that's how I saw it too. If you just answer no to everything, you get zero. He should have mixed it up a bit more, put more challenging questions in there, but that wasn't really the point of it anyway. I got a 20.

there's no correlation with being bat**** crazy and a danger to to the human race, i've done a chi squared analysis and i'm 95% confidence there is no relationship.

Religion isn't a reason people do bad things. It's an excuse.
