Talk about the premiere drop of three episodes here.

First episode down, and not quite as shocking as past seasons. RIP Todd, you needed to be beat more. Just so glad to get another reason to be creeped out by Homelander. Sister Sage and Firecracker already look to be an interesting additions.

oh and Kimiko telling Frenchie she was a hacker and how she delivered the line was TOO damn cute, Kimiko is easily one of my fave characters on the show she is just AWESOME

She's one of my favorites, too. Though I am disappointed she's let go of Frenchie. I liked them together.

Took me a minute to recognize Rob Benedict. Clean shaven and buzzcut threw me off. So, Mark Sheppard and Mark Pellegrino are definitely showing up. And, uhhh, based on Splinter, I'm a little worried about what Kripke will do with them.

Truthcon was fun. I like Firecracker. Kind of wonder if she will go full villain or not.

So, clearly, part of the deal of getting Homelander for MK1, Netherrealm did some animation for The Boys.

Neo Noir talking is amazing.

The entire Vought on Ice was amazing. Even more so when I got to see the lyrics during the credits. Also makes me curious about the inevitable Homelander vs Starlight fight.

Fun fact, Tilda Swinton is Deep's octopus girlfriend.

I need to ask regarding this week's episodes because there's a plot point that has me confused:

Does anyone else think MM's being a little ***** and hijacking Butcher's leadership, including booting him, out for very little reason without anyone else speaking up? Not even HUGIE is gonna say something? Butcher's FAR from a saint and he ****ed up last season (juicing with temp powers and driving Ryan away, both of which he regrets), but at least he's being honest about his condition and wants to save Ryan from his insane father. What has he done THESE 3 EPISODES to warrant MM going nuclear? Far as I can see, not much, and MM's out of his depth as we saw at the conspiracy theory convention (and yes, Butcher's right and Sage is too dangerous to keep alive, esepcally since she's further enabling Homelander). Unless it was over whatever happened with Soldier Boy.....

Otherwise, my only wish for this season right now is for Ryan to turn on his dad and for Homelander's comeuppance to be like that of Kurt Russel in Death Proof (pre-killed off for next season).

Well, he didn't tell everyone about his conditions till 6 months after he found out. He went abandoned his post and got found by Homelander. Combined with last season, MM was sick of Butcher's ****. And yes, Hughie did speak up a bit to try to keep Butcher, but its Hughie.

That's fair reasoning. Still, I see Hughie as the voice of reason for this group, yet he was distracted by the drama involving his parents and Frenchie is distracted by Kimiko and other things. MM took advantage when that should have been a group decision. MM is not blameless here either.
