Even comic canon ironically lines up with Sara as Black Canary.......t:
They could progress the storyline like this in the show, instead of subjecting us to you know who.

I'm a little late to watching season 2 of "Arrow", but damn if Caity Lotz isn't great as Sarah/Canary.

Sure, she can come across a little ... wooden at times, but on the whole I think she's pretty awesome. Especially in the training and fight sequences. I really hope she returns with a new costumed identity at some stage in the future.

If you look at the tweets and Facebook posts by Arrow, you do not see anything about Caity. Additionally, she is not mentioned for Comic Con. This can only mean one thing and that is not good news for Caity/Sara. I am afraid that it is R.I.P. Sara. ��

Yes, that is the ONLY conceivable explanation, not a chance that there could be any other reason whatsoever.

Sara may make appearance In Season 3 but she is likely done as carnary because producers refuse to alter their plans,and to keep pushing Laurel despite osme fans clear dislike for her.

I don't think that she'll appear as much as in season 2. But I do think that she'll have a recurring presence.

Or they were filming some stuff from another episode so they could have the footage for that Season 3 exclusive look trailer at comic-con

Cool figure. At least we will have a reminder (and keepsake), there was once a Black Canary on the show.

That is of course if they dont come to their senses soon enough.

That whole thing was a Laurel/Katie Cassidy fan driven narrative. The producers never said that the torch or mantle or whatever you want to call it was passed. Sara giving her the jacket was just one of those teases this show likes to do.

But it wasn't what all the Laurel fans immediately thought it meant. Sara gone from the show and Laurel in full on superhero training mode.

We know Sara isn't gone and while Katie Cassidy continues boast work out pictures it still remains to be seen if Laurel is anywhere close to making the decision to becoming a literal crime fighter.

How much will Sara play a role in the new season?
Kreisberg: She plays a big role in the new season. We have her booked for three episodes and hopefully for more. We love Caity Lotz. She's so amazing. Watching the dailies of her in the premiere and seeing her back, it's always fun to see her. As much as her stuntwoman does, Caity really does get out there on her own and it's fun to watch.

Good to hear but inless it;s more than three episodes she can;t play too big a role.

They seem to be moving oliver romanticly away from Sara and into a Oliver/Felicity/Ray Palmer triangle.
