The Casey Anthony Murder Trial - Two Threads Too Many

How is that racist?

Adopting little african babies is the trend in Hollywood.
You're implying that Africa is so strapped for cash that they'd give a sociopathic child killer babies.

And you believe them ? Jesus Christ man......:whatever:

If you're Archie Bunker, then I'm going to play Meathead on this one...

That's America at work for you. If the court acquits someone, then it's their right as an American citizen to live in peace no matter what the crime.

The courts said she didn't do it.

Well, it would be nice if our court system went with some others and threw out the "not guilty" wording and replaced it with "not enough proof" or "not enough evidence to convict"...because THAT is actually what the court is saying.

I hope the b*** never finds peace myself. I hope she's hounded till the day she dies.

No, I was asking if Africa would give a sociopathic child killer a baby.

It wouldn't be Africa that did it, it would be the specific country in Africa, and it would depend on their particular adoption laws. I would find it very doubtful that any country in Africa would allow her to adopt one of their children.....

What about Vietnam then?:o

If I'm not mistaken they actually have very strict adoption laws...

But, honestly, it really just depends on the specific country.....they all have different laws, some more strict than others. It also depends on her probation status, if she is put on probation, and how long that is...

I also think there is paperwork within the state that has to be filled out and approval given, I'm not sure that she would pass that...

I don't know enough about adoption law to really give an answer. If she wants to try, she has every right to do so....but I would hope that what has happened would be highly considered and it would not be approved.

Vivid took the offer back. For those of you who actually wanted it to happen...
Wait this was real???

Also, if they had done it, I would have put zero money in their pockets. That is what the internet is for. But she doesn't deserve to even have the lowest of the low wank to her, so its all for the better.
I'm not going to go into how awful I think all this turned out, as its been said a hundred times. But I don't think she will stay out for long. Seeing as the kind of person she is, she will be back in the justice system in no time.

For those mad that she didnt get convicted....at least we got Humberto Leal

Yup. A few hours after she was found not guilty they offered her some deal and then soon after that pulled out (no pun) because shes pretty much the most hated woman in America right now.

I'm so sick of the UN telling us what we need to do, and Obama bowing to them....Leal needs to quickly meet God....

The more the after-trial coverage goes on, the more it becomes clear Casey was more of a victim than we may have thought. And the more they show the emotional twits on calling for the jury's blood, the more that one guy was right about the media being able to pick any target for us and we'll condemn them before a trial...

oh Leal is meeting someone a little more fire-y than God and Im not talking about the Human Torch...even though he's dead too

OK, so the other forum I read that has about a dozen out-of-control threads about this right now, and one is proposing boycotting all things Disney because ABC reportedly paid Casey $200,000 for some photos early on in the case.

Yes, I'm going to deprive my 4-year-old nephew his first trip to Disney World next year because sometimes things are unfair.

What's sad is that some people posted that they are cancelling Disney trips. :whatever:

Call it sad but I would rather this happen in hopes that companies would fear making a deal with Casey. Alot of people are already going nuts over the fact she was found not guilty. I'm not going to go nuts unless I found out Casey has more money than me That is just not right! People work their whole life and a souless party girl makes more money than them in one day than they do in a lifetime.

It's the internet, a lot of people say something and never actually do it.

Anyone else find it sad that a person can be found "not guilty" in this country and as a result they're hated even more than if they were found guilty?

I mean, the "not guilty" verdict should vindicate someone...I know I hope that it would vindicate me. It's disheartening to me that once the media and the populous has made their minds up, there's no turning back.

Hypothetically speaking, if she really didn't do it (I know, "How dare he?") then I can't imagine the amount of frustration going on in her mind. I know that if I didn't commit a crime, was found not guilty by a jury of my peers, but then was deemed guilty by the court of public opinion, I'd be on the verge of suicide.

The way I look at it is this: she was found "not guilty" and she can never be tried again. While we don't have to assume she was innocent, we don't have to assume she did it either. We shouldn't assume or speculate when it comes to these things anyways. I'm not saying we can't, but it doesn't seem healthy to do it all of the time.

It's over and done with. Let her, her family, the American people, and most importantly the media, move on. It's time to get on with our lives. Take solace in the fact that YOU didn't kill the girl, and let judgment fall on Casey from someone/something else, if it's out there.

Most reasonable thing I've read all day with regards to this......its time to move on...its not good to dwell or obsess over what could have been or what we perceive actually happened, etc...
