No thread on this. Anybody check it out?

I thought the debut episode was good. If it lasts any length of time I think Delroy "slept on" Lindo will be a memorable bad guy. Also [BLACKOUT]the character death actually caught me off guard for once. [/BLACKOUT]

It was strong opening episode. I like the main character detective. I'm interested to see if they can really separate this show from the rest of the pack.

same here....plus Jessica Beals is smokin'

very strong for a pilot episode IMO

Jennifer* Beals. And yeah, she's still a major hottie. She has aged remarkably well. If you want to see her in even hotter context, check out The L Word on Netflix Instant View.

sorry...Ive seen her in The L Word, she also was Roths wife on Lie to Me, I think

Jennifer Beals is 47 years old.

That cant be. She barely looks out of her mid 30s.

I wasn't expecting the narration. Still feels a little weird, but I sort of got used to it.

Very strong episode though. I didn't think I was going to like this show based on the previews. Now I'm looking forward to the next one.

well it is...she was 20 when she did 'Flashdance' and that was released in 1983

I thought I'd made a thread on this back when it was called 'Ride Along' but I can't find it. Did it start tonight? I thought it was on, on Monday.

It started last Monday. I didn't know it was called Ride Along at one point. I think I like Chicago Code better.

Just caught up on this, cracking show. Delroy Lindo is class and I really like the dynamics of the 3 lead cops, Wysocki is a very interesting character, quirky yet badass and Jennifer Beals is smokin' hot but commanding as Chief Colvin. The whole thing has an Elmore Leonard feel.

I likes it....I want to mount Jennifer Beals and am really starting to like Wysocki

this weeks episode was really good....great emotional stuff between Colvins family

I really like this show. Was expecting a CSI/L&O Clone, or standard cop-procedural, very happy that there is more to this, with developing characters and an overarching story. Really enjoyed Brotherhood, and specifically Jason Clarke's performance in it, so it's great to see him getting something to work with here. And Jennifer Beals doesn't hurt the appeal, obviously.

I hate procedural shows, and I was afraid this show would be one. Pleasantly suprised to find that it is not and that is a pretty good show. The character's are good, and the story is dynamic enough to keep me interested. I just hope it doesn't become formulaic. I, also, hope Fox gives it a chance. Anyone know what the numbers have been?

Vic would be so disappointed in what his wife has become. :csad:

Damn show got cancelled, wtf man.

I thought everyone liked the show.

Maybe cop shows in general on network TV just aren't doing it for viewers anymore..

FOX needs to make room for The X Factor and Napoleon Dynamite: The Animated Series. You know, QUALITY programming.

well the X Factor will bring in 15-20 million viewers in its first couple weeks

^^ Tragic.

Things are set up well for the finale, Gibbons really is a great character.

The internet is slowing killing network TV.

We'll be left with nothing but reality TV and talent shows...
