Ok, so pretend that you've just made a film that's a huge success and you're pretty much allowed to do anything you want, anyway you want without studio interference. What would you choose?

I think I would choose an adaption of Nineteen eighty-four or an animated version of Maus.

I guess Inception was Nolan's dream project , no pun intended . So I'd want to do a Western or maybe beg Lucas to let me do a Star Wars film.

I would do a story about a group of the very last dinosaurs who survived the initial meteor impact and how they all slowly died off. No dialogue, portraying the animals as realistic as possible.

Morrison Batman and Robin (Dick and Damian) trilogy. Crazy villains, flying batmobile, the whole lot! The core would be about Dick and Damian fighting villains and coming to their own, but there would be a bigger overarching plot about Hurt and the Black Glove which would be resolved in the third film. During the trilogy we and B&R find out about Bruce's fate and we also take a look at Bat-Damian in the future were he ties up (or should i say kills?) any loose ends left from the Black Glove. Also, i'd have flashbacks with Bruce and Dick as Batman and Robin when Dick talks to Damian about his father (Batman #703) and whatnot. It would basically be about the eternal legend and legacy of Batman throughout the years.


Changes to Morrison's work:
1) I would never kill Dick as Morrison has hinted that he'll do at some point.
2) I'd add a romance cause every movie needs one. Maybe Babs, I have no idea.

I'd probably adapt Pygmy by Chuck Palahniuk. Get some little foreign guy to be Pygmy and teach him how to do Chop-POW Flying Eagle kick. I'd try my hardest to keep the anal rape scene; it adds to the plot.

1.right now i think i would do a Goonies type movie. where its all about little kids going on an adventure. since the technology is here to do everything possible i would maybe add a small monster or something similar.

2. or maybe i would do a true hardcore horror movie. where its not about teenager having sex. a serious story where i would use every possible trick from the 60's to 80's . building suspension with editing , sound effects for atmosphere.

Bronze Age Superman movie. All the trappings, Clark at GBS, giant Key fortress, tragic fallen friend Luthor, Kandor in the bottle, hot-pants Supergirl, Batman as best friend, everything with no apologies, presented with pride.

Classic HAMMER style Frankenstein movie with the focus on Frankenstein, not the Creature and reflecting the themes that Fisher addressed in his series.

Perhaps the thread should have been a bit better defined, The Chris Nolan Experience should be free range on an original film, I'm seeing too many adaptations and remakes here, puts some thought into it folks, you've got $180 million dollars up your sleeve, start brainstorming.

No , Nolan's Howard Hughes project. When Aviator as being made , Nolan decided to pull his project . He had written a script and if i'm not mistaken it was Carrey who was going to be Hughes

As an aspriing filmmaker I can say that the artistic freedom garnered from a previous success would be much more appealing than a ship full of money, as I don't think I'd need that much of it anyway.

My film would wear the guise of a Western, as it would be set in the west in the late 19th century, but would slowly morph into a psychological thriller that subtley examines many of Jung's ideas about archetypes, wish fulfillment, etc.
