Just reminding everyone that The Colbert Report premieres tonight at 11:30 on Comedy Central.

It's french, *****.

I love it. It feels like the Daily Show, and thats a good thing. I hope he keeps This Week in God.

That was friggin hillarious. I like it, the Daily Show is your evening news spoof, while The Colbert Report is more of a Billy O'Rielly, Chris Matthews, etc spoof. Absolutely hillarious.

Hey, since he has his own show now will he be on The Daily Show anymore?

That's too bad. He's my favorite. But at least he has his own show I can watch.

The beginning kinda bothered me, but the moment he started talking about his last name I knew Colbert was back and better than ever. And that Phillips interview? Damn, I cant think of a single Stewart interview that eclipses it. This could easily surpass the Daily Show in terms of quality.

Reminded me of the Daily Show when Craig Kilbourn hosted it. It was good, but I like Jon Stewart's comedy a little more.

Damn, going to have to wait until Bell gets the rights and starts airing it on CTV & Comedy Network here in Canada. Hopefully, for early 2006. But will watch whatever clips and download until then. It was two years ago that they started doing The Colbert Report segments on The Daily Show.

I'm still going to love the Daily Show, and I doubt that the Colbert Report will ever eclipse it,

but holy hell!

That Colbert/Stone Phillips "gravitas match" at the end was friggin' brilliant!

I have almost the exact same thoughts... Get out of my head!

I was just talking to my wife about that very thing and I said the same thing.

Looks like I have a new show to add to my daily TV roundup. This show is far too funny for its own good, and I must watch it.

Plus the fact that he insists on pronouncing "report" with a silent 't' is silly. In a good way.

Last night 1.13 million people watched The Colbert Report (remember Col-bear Ra-poor) which is excellent news. I believe The Daily Show averages around 1.4 million so if the quality doesn't dip it should be an extra half hour a day of laughs for us.

"If you have ever sat naked on a hotel bedspread, we have a chilling report you won't want to miss."

Bill O' Reily can kiss my ass. No one talks **** about Colbert. Stewart totally laid his ass out in that interview though, especially with the weapons of mass destruction comment.

Why do they call it The Colbert Repore? Cause it sounds cooler than REPORT?

My mass communication professor talks about Bill O'Reilly constantly. How he's the only guy on tv who tells the truth, he's a genius, etc. I loved Stewart putting him in his place.

It's a joke they play. Since Colbert has a silent "T" they say Report with a silent "T"

And another fine episode. I love his smugness, but at the same time you know he's just bluffing the whole time. Plus the Word segment is gold.Pure gold.

Not too many guests get booed on The Daily Show, felt like I was watching Real Time with Bill Maher for a second.
Tucker Carlson couldn't physically hurt Jon, but O'Reilly sure could if he pissed him off. Colbert had the right advice to curl up in a ball. Jon's reaction when O'Reilly called him a "pinhead" and that Bill is still banning anything French was priceless.

Bill was a A-hole on Daily Show. Of course I have known that for awhile, esp. when he tried to tell John McCaine what being in a prisoner of war camp is really like.

Anyway, glad Jon put him in his place, and I am getting set to watch the second ep of Colbert Report

Damn I missed Bill O'Reily?

When will the clip of his interview be online?
