I would like to make a COMPLETE list of superhero shows that can currently be seen on TV, even if just in reruns. If other viewers would help out, I think the end list we come up with could be a useful resource.

Shows with SUPERHEROES

Spawn is or was on HBO

Batman TAS

Superman TAS

Smallville is on the WB

Aquaman will be on the WB? Maybe.

Maybe for a Hellboy animated series somewhere, too.

Teen Titans on CN

Blade is on Spike TV.

The Justice League on CN

American Dragon on Disney.

The X-men (I think it's still on Saturday mornings...)

According to a guy on
this forum, (The Red Bird)
there will be a FF cartoon this fall.

The Incredible Hulk reruns on Sci Fi.

Who wants to be a superhero
on Sci Fi. Please, God, don't
let this be as bad as it looks...

Doctor Who (is this superhero or just sci fi... sorry) on Sci Fi.

Dark Angel on Sci Fi.

Ben Ten on CN.

Spiderman on ABC Family.

The Batman is on Kids WB.

Someone said The Tick is on some obscure channel.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, many places, syndication.

TMNT on some chanel or other, I think.

Hmm. I think that's a good chunk of what's currently available.
Thanks,
Super Mark

.

Aquaman is cancelled.
The guy who was gonna be Arthur is now Oliver Queen.
Doctor Who is NOT a superhero show.
There's also Heroes on NBC.
The 4400 on USA
The X-men isn't on the air, and is in reruns on Toon Disney i think.
There's also Angel

I can't believe I forgot about Mutant X! Thanks, 3DMan.

AbC Family: Kong, Get Ed, Dragon Booster, Power Rangers
Disney: Kim Possible-new episodes coming,
Cartoon Network: Robot Boy, Zatch Bell!, Dragon Ball Z, The Powerpuff Girls
Nickelodeon: Avatar, Danny Phantom,
Nicktoons: Martin Mystery
WB: Spider Riders, Xiaolin Showdown, Loonatics Unleashed, Viewtiful Joe

Great list, Wraith, and yes, I suppose in a way Knight Rider is a superhero show; the hero has a high tech "gadget" to fight crime with.

And yes, Krypto, of course, Starkiller.

Angel and the 4400 from Speedball; the people in 4400 appear to be "normal" humans with super powers, so I think that counts as a superhero show.

I wondered about the current Dr. Who because he is heroic, and seems to have an almost superhuman intellect and endurance, as well as high tech gizmos. But I guess I'm on the fence about that one.

I think this list is pretty exhaustive when considering superhero shows that can currently be seen on TV. Thanks everyone.

is Mantis on reruns?

WonderWoman shows up every so often on Sci-Fi for a few months.

not that i know of

I also forgot Scryed on Adult Swim, Anime about super-powered humans.

Sadly, there are no real tv shows with live action superheroes; except Power Rangers...

don't forget to add lightspeed to this list after his movie debuts on sci fi tonight

Well, if Buffy & Angel make the list then you should also include

Forever Knight - reruns are shown on the Space channel in Canada

Rocket Robin Hood appeared on the Cartoon Network a while back (I don' know if that's still on).

Thanks all. Aside from Anime and Manga stuff, I think this list is now pretty complete.

When I get around to it, I'll do one more post: a compilation of all shows listed on this thread.

Thanks again, and good work,
Super Mark

as of 10 am this morning july 29 2006 add teenage mutant ninja turtles fast forward to this list

Thanks 3D and Freak, I'll add those to the list.
As for Kaka's recommendations, are those currently airing?

OK, I tried to gather up what I saw on this list. It's always going to change, but this could be a good starting point for those who want to suggest SH shows for friends. Or who like useless lists. ENJOY!

Some of these are now off the air, some have moved. But I think the end list we all came up with could be a useful resource, at least as a starting point. An ever changing starting point!.
