I agree that Bruce Campbell is cool, in the sense that after everything he went through, he could walk away from it all, and say: "Hail to the king, baby!" That, and anyone who is cheesy enough to pull off the word "Groovy" is cool in my books.

But if I go the "real life cool" route, I'd have to vote for Jack Nicholson. It's the sunglasses that do it, really.

If you define "Cool" by being in only fanboy movies and having appeal to virgins who have shelves full of action figures and spend half of their weekly paycheks on comic books, Yes, Bruce Campbell is cool. However, if you define cool by having a huge screen presense and being the highest paid actor of your time, because people from around the World are captivated by just how badass you are both in movies and in real life, sorry, Bruce Campbell is a mere speck of the cool that was McQueen. Steve McQueen, coolest actor ever - period. The man raced cars, motorcycles, was boys with Bruce Lee, was a black belt, has been mentioned in about a dozen songs with at keast two havign is name in the title. Sorry Geek, but you need to grow up and recognize what "Cool" actually is and isn't Bruce campbell (although he seems like a pretty nice cat, he IS NOT even close to the level of the likes of McQueen and Newman). So, stop it already.
