Seriously im not one of those weepy guys who were tight jeans and listen to evanesence but I love this series. Theres no reason that this series should be stuck in DTV hell. They should make one of these movies every halloween like the saw series. The possibilities are nearly endless. Imagine a crow set in the old west, or feudal japan, or a murdered child comes back for vengance. This series needs someone with balls who's not afraid to show the harsh realities of life.

I'm hoping that the franchise can get a fresh new kickstart.

I would like to see one done with a Lady Crow, there have been 4 all done with men as the Crow & having a female Crow would be a nice change of pace. Dimension Films probably wouldn't go with a female Crow because they would feel that a woman couldn't carry an action movie.

I was surfing the net one night and came upon a Crow fan fiction archive website where fans submitted their own original stories of the Crow. I saw and read so many great stories that I wonder why studios don't adapt a fan fiction story.

One story I read in particular involved a young african american woman married to a caucasian(spelling?) man and they had a mixed daughter. The characters were killed by Neo-Nazis/Klansman and she returns from the grave to seek revenge. I really loved it because it tackled a real issue in the world and put it into a fantasy realm as well.

There were so many great stories that I read from that site. To be honest I'm not exactly sure if the site is still up anymore.

As far as the franchise is concerned, the first one will always be a masterpiece and can never be topped. One of the main problems is that they're constantly trying to do a film that outdoes what Brandon Lee and Alex Proyas created.

My opinion? Have a serious sequel done by a good/great director, have an excellent writer, get better actors/actresses, and just come up with a story that involves the mythology of the Crow but is also original too.

Yeah, I don't know if anyone could really do it justice. Maybe someone could do another TV series. I kind of liked the show.

I loved the Crow series, and the comics. I was sorely upset with the last 2 films. I pray someday that dimension/miramax will release the rights to the crow and some company will pick it up.
I would like to see the female crow: Iris. I loved that story and was one of the better ones since original. I would love to do a female crow, and they could tailor it after kill bill in ways. I think it would work so well. Then after a female crow, then I think a asian crow.
Maybe a futuristic martial arts type crow movie with either the guy from Matrix reloaded/revolutions or the guy from Ong bak warrior(sorry forgot their names).

The Isis story is the one where she is killed while pregnant, correct?
