The CW Presents: The Messengers

I thought it was pretty good. I watched it on the CW's site, which is kind of torture as the whole video is filled with little occasional pauses.

That Cedric barber show did even worse with a 0.2

Pilot was ok. That paternity reveal was random as hell though.

It was ok. Reminded me of a Syfy movie. Ill stick around for now since my Friday shows are slim to none.

I liked it okay. But I am a bit of a sucker for Christian fantasy like this.

It sort of felt like they were trying to do Supernatural with a girl instead of Dean. might stick around for one more episode.

I was watching the second ep and as soon as the televangelist started talking about god being angry at humanity because of the american financial crisis among other things, I stopped watching.

This show sucks.

Surprising no one, Hart Of Dixie has been officially cancelled by The CW. The Messengers has also been cancelled.

Well good thing I stopped after ep1. TheCW never planned for this to go anywhere anyway.

I thought the pilot was pretty good but I just lost interest quickly.

Well that is just what the devil wanted.

Wonder if they'll actually air any more episodes. Probably just re-run Cedric's Barber Shop Battles lol

No clue why I am watching this since I know it's toast before even 1 episode aired. That being said I wish they gave the show a better chance(I would have saved it for Summer replacement at a better timeslot). I wouldn't be surprised given this show's ratings if they just pull the rest of the series soon and make it that you can watch it online.

This show is just getting silly. In the last episode, Vera decides it's time to spirit walk, so she does it from a standing position, just letting her body fall where it may with no ability to brace itself. I mean seriously, lie down first? Then some older lady shows up who was one of the previous messengers, gives them a little bit of insight (though why not tell them the power of the messenger who hadn't arrived yet? they'd already been duped by a pretender, who they might've realized was lying if they knew what the powers of the group should be), then she just goes away. Um, lady, these dolts could really use some guidance. Maybe your knowledge and experience could really help them out? And then there's the whole devil and the horsemen. The horsemen want to kill everything. The devil wants to work with them, so he can have some fun, but he doesn't want to kill everything. Then why do you want to work with them? Apparently he's completely powerless against them. When they tell him to piss off, he goes and runs to the messengers to get them to help him. And why the hell are they even called messengers? It's not like they're delivering messages to anybody. They're entire goal is to stop the horsemen from breaking all the seals. Do they do that by delivering messages? Hardly.

Yeah this show was doomed from the start with it starting it on Friday

Saw last episode. Better than most Friday night fare. I think they were close to having a decent show.
Except for SyFy nobody ever seems to program watchable product.
