The Dark Knight Teaser Trailer (fan written)

Based off of various descriptions with some new things added in as well (the action of the logo, the laughter's effect on the theater, the breaking apart of the logo):

TEASER:

A BLINDING WHITE LIGHT shines upon the screen.

BRUCE (V.O.)
The mobs have escalated.

Black 'cards' fly through the light, coming together to form something...

BRUCE (V.O.)
They just want to see the world suffer for fun.

Finally the logo appears...

BRUCE (V.O.)
They crossed a line this time.

ALFRED (V.O.)
They put all their hopes into a man they didn't understand.

The logo begins to break apart. Pure and utter chaos.

JOKER (V.O.)
(to the audience)
I'm a man of my word. I guarantee everyone here is going to die tonight!

The logo continues to break apart, but rather than evenly... it looks like the projector is starting to break apart!

CUT TO: PITCH BLACK... SILENCE.

JOKER (V.O.)
I'm going to make the entire world suffer....

We hear a piercing LAUGH throughout the entire theater. Seemingly coming from every angle imaginable.

A car shoots out straight towards the audience revealing a Joker Card!

After a while the closing credits- wb, dark knight, etc. appear on screen.

How's that Spider-Man 6 screenplay coming?

Good, though it may go through a couple of drafts to get to the exact story that I want to tell. I really want this one to be good. My first time handling this genre, so it's a challenge and I want to give it all I have to get at as good as possible before it premieres. There are alot of kick ass action sequences as well, this is going to be- as I have said on many occasions before- the 'Die Hard' of Spider-Man films. The members of the S6 are different, but the grouping of villains still remains- the organization itself is still intact- and it really has this larger than life scope that I'm really enjoying. I think alot of readers will be surprised at how much there is, I love exploring the Marvel Universe and of course that would seriously come into play with a film about a terrorist cell type group terrorizing New York City. Planted in both mythos and the real world to it's extreme. One word sums it up- awesome.

Lightning strikes, setting the scene.

EXT. ROOFTOP - NIGHT

BATMAN (VO)
I never expected things to come to this...to escalate so quickly.

Gordon stands and turns on the Batsignal.

GORDON (VO)
Three more were found dead this morning.

Batman arrives and startles Gordon.

BATMAN
What can I do?

The sounds of drums pounding fades in.

Several shots of crime lords and their respective gangs:
- Maroni
- Black Mask
- Scarecrow

BATMAN (VO)
The mob has become restless, tearing the city apart. But none of it...

Screen goes BLACK.

BATMAN (VO)
Compares to this...

We hear the Joker's piercing, menacing laughter.

Music and intensity picks up.

Shots of the Tumbler speeding down the Narrows.
Alfred and Bruce looking out the window of the penthouse.
Hundreds of GPD officers moving throughout a burning city with fleeing citizens
Dent at a press conference:

DENT
I believe in Gotham City!

Batman descends from a rooftop.

ALFRED (VO)
Who are you? Batman or Bruce Wayne?

Batman fights several mob members with Scarecrow looking on.

Alfred and Bruce arguing in the penthouse:

BRUCE
People need someone, Alfred. People need Batman!

RACHEL (VO)
NOO!!

Music and intensity dies down...

Rachel is tied and gagged in a warehouse, all alone...tears swelling her eyes.

JOKER (OS)
Why aren't you smiling! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Music and intensity picks back up.

Two large boats leave Gotham as it burns.
Gordon looks back at the wreckage:

GORDON
My God...

Batman punchs Joker in the face, causing the audience to only get a glimpse of the madman.
