Trying to find an issue or graphic novel that portrays the death of Bruce's parents the best. A lot of them are very quick shots to the night, but if I were to recommend a issue to a non-comic book reader that really captures that moment, which would it be?

Dark Knight Returns has a great version, though it may not be what you're looking for.

I personally love how it was done in DKR, since its such an iconic moment (the symbolism behind the shattering pearl necklace).

Hated Bruce's dad in Man Who Falls. "Ya idiot, fallin' inta holes, you..." :o

yeah, I read that one. It's actually a good retelling, but Thomas Wayne comes across as a real jerk.
