I'm no less enthused, but I still wish someone else was playing Leo's part. I think Chris Evans could have worked.

Leo is much better actor than Evans.

He is very good and talented actor. The only his mistake was Titanic and thats all. I cant understand ppl, who hate him for only one role.

Evans was just the first person who popped into my head as an alternative. Both he and Leo are good and talented actors, but I just think Leo has the positive stigma of being in tons of great movies and Evans has mostly not-good movies, all of which I think he's stood out as the good performance in nonetheless. Other than Not Another Teen movie, which I consider a middle of the road movie in which he gave a middle of the road performance.

Anyway I just think DiCaprio should be given a rest by Scorsese and play roles I think he'd be more appropriate for. His upcoming diamonds movie sounds great. Nobody would probably have been a superior choice for Howard Hughes, and Gilbert Grape was superb, but I think other people could have better played his characters in

Gangs of New York
Catch Me If You Can
and The Departed

I don't think that's really the case. You're right, Leo is a good actor, but he is not a good presence nor has that outward machismo that some of his roles have demanded, like when he played Howard Hughes. Great movie, but I really really had to suspend my disbelief. Hughes was a man in the John Wayne sense, and Leo did not capture that at all. Leo is still a little boy. Someone like Liev Schrieber thinned down would have been much better. And I had a hard time buying DiCaprio's toughness in Gangs of New York, which was one of the reasons that movie failed for me.

Actually Evans has several movies coming out that are not summer movies or comedies,thye are drama's,he's young and growing as an actor

I'll just ignore the cartoonish ignorance of the first part of your post and repeat my afformentioned opinion that he was the right choice for the Aviator.

That trailer is so badthe movie looks pretty good except Dicaprio is unconvincing IMO but the music they used the entire way through killed any drama,it almost felt like wannabe tarantino with the riffs at the begining and the end part is to horrible for words

On topic. One of the best trailers I've seen in a long time. Turns it into a very highly anticipated movie for me, can't wait.

I liked this trailer. But it was quite badly built. Gimme Shelter was cut after like, 10 seconds. Plus Comfortably Numb was raped.
But Jack Nicholson is always good. And it has Ray Winstone.
