The Dinosaur Thread

It's that time of year when the paleontology YouTube sphere collectively gets together for the annual PaleoRewind, which goes over the various discoveries made that year, so if you wanna see plenty of the cool science that was done in 2021, I suggest checking it out!


This year is the biggest one so far, with 20+ channels involved to split up the months into halves; I got to participate and took the first half of June, which included Australia's largest dinosaur, a bunch of new hadrosaurs, new science about the asteroid impact, and a discovery about a baby Stone Age human:
 

In new research, scientists observed the red-legged seriema (Cariama cristata), a South American predatory bird that stalks small mammals, reptiles, amphibians and insects and which has a sharp, curved claw that sits above the ground, much like Deinonychus, Velociraptor, Utahraptor and other "raptor"dinosaurs.

Now I want to see a dino do this move.
