The Eggs Of Watchmen

BTW, I believe that was Truman Capote standing there with Andy Warhol.

I believe the Village People are there too.
You betcha. I caught it too. :lmao:
Yeah, I found it funny.
all the 300 references are making me sick..
All one of them....
Fixed.

And I honestly didn't think of the 3001 room number turning to 300 was an easter egg at first. I just figured he was on the 30th floor in room 01.
I can understand that one though.

I don't believe the Dr. Manhattan screaming freeze frame was a 300 egg at all.

no majik...there are two 300 references...dr.longs briefcase combination is 300 before it opens at the end

I don't quite know if it's an egg or not, but just before Rorschach starts talking about Pyramid, you can see a Pyramid van going down the street.

"This Island Earth" is playing on one of Veidt's screens

I believe (can't be sure) that the New York crater forms a gianty smiley face when Laurie and Dr. Manhattan are looking out over it. The fires in the windows of two distant builds are the eyes. Anyone else see that?

Well, when the DVD comes out, we can all watch the commentary, then. It's just a very famous pose now, and was an internet meme for quite a while, and since the same director directed this movie...

It was either Mad Max or The Road Warrior that was playing on one of Ozymandias' TV screens. Is that considered an easter egg?

:o

As well as:
Some pornos, Rambo (weird since the Vietnam war was a main part of it -- Ozy's so smart, he's watching TV from other dimensions!), etc

Hollis Mason has the Watchmen TPB on his bookshelf.

EDIT: already posted

Hollis Mason is saving a couple at the Gotham Opera House (Batman poster in the background) Guess who?

Ozymandias has a copy of Under the Hood on his desk during the scene where Nite Owl and Rorschach go through his stuff. It's next to the Ramses book

Not sure if I saw this correctly but I could of sworn I saw The Watchmen GN on a bookshelf in the movie.

Ah, I vaguely remember the suitcase one.

I noticed this as well.

When the camera zooms out of the roof at Karnak, Ozy's body is at a 11:55 angle, considering the round room with periodic markers (symbolising hours).

Why did you copy my post???

During the Studio 54 collage at the beginning, Ozy, who's slighty based on Bowie on the movie, shakes hands with the actor dressed as David Bowie from the Aladin Sane era.

On the same scene you can see the entire Village People, Mick Jagger and Divine.

Your belief is correct.

haha is this real?

Yes. Wait till we are allowed to post screencaps.

When the camera pans out at the smiley face on Mars, some of the lens flare creates a line going across the face EXACTLY like the blood on Comedian's pin.

Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love is playing on one of Adrian's screens.

and when DrM and SSII arrive to the destruction in NY, you could see the newspaper saying "War?" is seen. (would that count ?)

You guys are gonna make me drive down to work and see this movie again for a third time.

Yes. In the graphic novel, Rorschach especulates about Veidt sexuality.

This scene isnt in the movie, but then they included this folder on Veidt computer :)

Makes him seem more pedophilic than homosexual...

During the end credits it lists all the shows that were used on ozymadias's monitors .
