oops
I think the Batman poster in the background is a heads up for people to look closer to their surroundings. Like they want people to know its Batman's parents in the background.
but it's not logical for them to be batmans parents. The main reason for this is if batmans parents were still alive there wouldn't be a batman so the posters wouldn't be there. Plus Alan Moore wrote this as superheroes in the real world where the characters can read the comics (nite owl I did read a superman comic in the graphic novel)
Sorry about that, rant over.

Something I just noticed:
When Jon and Janey are making love for the first time, they zoom in on Jon's watch on top of the Holy Bible, in which he says "A month from now, the accident awaits me." Could the Bible have been used to symbolize that the time is slowly ticking until Jon is turned into a God? Or am I overanalyzing?
The people at the theatre were NOT the Waynes.
But an homage it was, for sure.
t:Maybe instead of the Waynes, it's the Driebergs coming out of the theatre. Hmmm?t:

LOL.So he'll turn black eventually?
i think the message here is that Batamn is fictional (hence the showing of posters) and that nite owl is doing the real thing . i don't think he is preventing the wayne's death although that would of been a really cool concept but then they'd have to figure out a way to write off superman.
