The Fantastic Four: Second Steps General News & Discussion Thread

Yeah he really gets the characters and has an unique asthetic to his comic book movie, none of the dull greys and flatness of a lot of comic book movies, the visuals really popped off the screen on this one. His sense of scale too with Galactus was immense. Hopefully he gets to have another shot at these,

They should sign him now for Second Steps and Third Steps. I really don't want to wait 2029 or 2030 for Second Steps.

Its really ridiculous the long gap between these MCU sequels post Endgam3. No Doctor Strange 3, Shang-Chi 2 and Black Panther 3 in sight yet.

Its seems like they are a lot more unsure and hesitant nowadays for sequels and follow ups and such, they dont seem to really know whats going to stick and whats worth doing, look at the major issues Blade has had getting off the ground. Everything seems more of a risk for them now.

Its not like the phase 2/3 days thats for sure.

Black Panther 2, Shang-Chi (post-covid) and Doctor Strange 2 were financially successful if I'm not mistaken and they probably did well in streaming too. Waiting 4 to 6 years to do a 2quel/3quel is more risky than committing fastly to a sequel.

Blade is another thing since that's a reboot.

I loved what Shakman did with the FF, so I am happy to have him back potentially
