I don't know. My last name is rather large over there, I don't know which part my specific stand goes to. If I had to guess, I would say Quebec.

I must ask:
Why does French have Ts and Xs at the ends of words, that aren't pronounced?
What's the point of having them?

I only know 3 French words: Bonjour, merci, and surrender.

Not only did you ask that question in a language that also has silent letters (English), but that very question is filled with them.

They're just silent letters, same as English. For example, in the English word "knight" you don't pronounce the K even though you spell it with one. French has quite a lot of silent letters :yay:

I'm so much better at reading and speaking French than I am at writing. Tres triste :(

I'm better at reading & writing than I am at speaking.... I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread & hopefully it'll help me learn (I'm only in my second year of learning the language). :hrt:

Practice and repetition are the key. I talk to my little sister in French often just so I don't forget my 7 years worth of studying.

I'm not good at speaking, reading or writing French. But I'm great at the kissing.

why doesnt English have the sound A like "AAAAAAaaaaaaaah" ?

Les canadiens sont les bienvenus bien entendu !
