Oh yeah. All cartridges had that problem. It got on my nerves all the time, but I have to say I kinda miss it. There was something rewarding about finally getting the game to load.

I remember when I was a child, there was a store next to my stepdad's house that went out of business, and the owner knew my stepdad and let him come in to take a couple of things for free, so he took a couple of NES games and gave them to me and my brother. One game worked fine, but 'til this day, the other game has yet to work and we even got a new NES a few years later.
