I've started watching those old Spidey shows on netflix, the show is just as weird as those pictures make it look. Maybe even more so. Spidey's actions from one scene to the next never make sense, and the scenes themselves don't even make sense half the time. He'll be in a cage one second, they'll cut back to him tied up, and then cut back to him and he'll be in a cage again, all in the same scene.

Quoted for truth. This is a rather backward American notion that all men must be skinhead mountains of meat who only speak in growls while the women have giant ****, slender bodies but stay in the kitchen. I dare developers to make a normal looking human male WHO IS NOT A SKINHEAD be the main character. Remember guys like Edison Trent, Tommy Vercetti, the guys from Diablo, Jim Raynor, Max Payne etc.

What happened to them? Even real life marines would laugh at these so called "REALISTIC" designs which are apparently based on them. Why the hell is the default guy from DRAGON AGE! a medieval fantasy game a skinhead? At least we have the new default char from Saints Row 3 who looks pretty cool. Pretty boy businessman turned killer.

Compare to the characters from "The Witcher" games and Metro 2033

You know what the worst part is? Mark Vanderloo is considered one of the hottest male models in the world. Yet, for Mass Effect they turned him into an ugly skinhead so more american kids would find him appealing. The original Shepard was even worse, huge white bald person with an angry look on his face. By comparison, guys like Chuck Greene & Issac Clarke look positively unique

Then we have Alan Wake who looks the most normal among video game protagonists.
Just some dude you might actually meet and that's refreshing. Hell Captain Emo from [PROTOTYPE] has more creativity put into his design.

Then we have cases like Ezio Auditore Da Firenze from Assassin's Creed 2. Perfection!

Yeah, I actually get depressed whenever i open an issue of gamepro. Question: Do you think it would have happened this way had we not gotten into a war ten years ago? cos that's when I started to notice games/character designs going that direction, like every male character is US Marines mascot and every female character is their wet dream.

I haven't been a gamer for years now. Games just aren't fun to me anymore. I'm not a soldier, I'll never be a soldier, I have no desire to be a soldier. The whole grim-and-brown-warzone thing's just wearing on me.
