Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in The Ghost Thread. Lunar you plan on doing any holiday investigating today?

Our next investigation is in a week I think.

Do you ever fear that something will try to attach itself to you? I mean something of a demonic entity who is hellbent on causing physical harm? Some friends of mine are still trying to get me to go with them to investigate a serial killers house.

I'll admit that I'm too scared and refuse to get involved. I've always been a believer in the unexplained. Things like Bigfoot, Beast of Bray Road, Ghosts, and UFO's have always interested me because it requires a person to think outside of the box and form their own conclusions.

Ghosts have always interested me because it's part of science. It's a unique type of research that deserves a lot of recognition. First story I ever read about the paranormal was the Amityville Horror.

Ghosts should be treated more as a science.
It bothers me when people don't belive they exsisted.
Spirits are hauntings are as real as water or the sky.

I don't think demons or any sorts will attach themselves to you. It's never heard of that paranormal investigators will have demons or spirits follow them. But you should also bless yourself afterwards if you may and ask for no spirits to follow you.

Is the house known for paranormal activity?

I saw it. Are they sure that was an actual ghost and not someone walking along in the woods? If that is a ghost then it's very, very creepy and creates an unsettling mood that's for sure. Oh yeah what is the significance of the woman in the woods? What happened in her past life that keeps her in this particular lifetime?

Has any information other than eyewitness reports become available?

How do you know? There's no telling what anyone would do in a situation like that. I don't know if it's real or not, but to say a person would go after a mysterious figure doesn't really hold any water.

If it was me I'd be too scared to go into the woods to get a closer look. But that's just me.

It's daylight and if they were truly scared they would have gotten the f*** out of there. And once again, they zoom it but stayed zoomed out...I call fake. If you are out to prove something, that is not the way to do it. It is fake.

That is the same argument people use for Bigfoot sightings. "If that is a real Bigfoot or was a real Bigfoot, you'd run to get a closer look and not zoom out or run away."

I personally am closer to believing in ghosts before I believe in Bigfoot. But if these hunters want to prove their point as to why they are spending time and money, that is not the way to do it.

Stories IMO are a lot scarier than these fake pieces of crap.

I work in this place that used to be the psycho ward in a hospital. It has since been renovated into another type of facility. The building itself is at least 70 years old. I work there during the days, but at times I am the only person workin there, as I tend to do the majority of my work on the weekends. The place is well known for being haunted. People have seen weired things and others have heard noises. I personally have seen things move, I have heard voices/noises I have even seen what I think was a ghost once.

One day I was there doing my work as usual. It was about 5:50pm, and I was nearly done my work for the day. It was on the weekend and the last person in the building (other than me) had left in the morning about 11am.

Just before I started to do my clean up, I was looking through some slides through a microscope. When viewing the microscope I had the weird feeling there was someone else in the building as I heard noises in the hall just outside the area I was working. I brought my head up from the microscope, to try and listen in clearer (I was still leaning over the table with my face near the microscope). I noticed from the corner of my eye that someone in a white lab coat was standing directly behind me. It looked like an older lady with blonde/white hair, and a little shorter than me. I turned my head around and I didn't see anything. This kinda creeped me out so I started to clean up.

Afterwards when I was about to leave (standing in the hallway), I heard what sounded like someone pushing a cart down the hall (like the squeeky wheel thingy). I didn't see anyone or anything in the hallway (it was pretty lit). I just left after that.

This is just one of many f***ed up things that have happened to me there.

In highschool, I worked at the local theatre(play theatre) that is nearly 100 years old today. A man was murdered mid-play over 50 years ago for cheating with another man's wife. There was also a bad fire there that killed many people and all the bricks in the back still have black soot on them. Well, one day me and my co-worker were setting up and painting a set for a play at night. We were talking about ghosts and all of the lights shut out in the damn theatre. We freaking ran out of there.

We also locked up as we were the last to leave every night and shut off all of the lights. The next day we get in trouble from the manager because we didn't turn off the balcony light. We argued that we did but she asked why it was on.

I had a mug full of coffee in the other room (set in the middle of the table) and we heard it fall down and break. No one else was in the building other than us. It was a bit freaky. But it worked out because she was all scared and she kept standing close to me for the rest of that day (she asked me if it was alright)
