Comics The "GOD LOVES, MAN KILLS" Thread (Graphic novel by Claremont)

"God Loves; Man Kills" was Claremont at his best. He may not be great anymore, but in his Heyday, Claremont was an awesome story teller.

I wasn't a fan of the X-Treme version at all though.

Claremont and Joss Whedon are the ONLY X-men writers I ever really loved. Nobody else was ever nearly as good.

I wasn't a fan of GLMKII at all, but the original was phenomenal.

God Loves, Man Kills is one of my favorite comic story lines. Probably top 5, easy. It really just cuts to the heart of the X-men and explains exactly what they are all about. Being a huge fan of X-books in general, this is must-read material. Off the top of my head, I think this is the most hard hitting, real, comic book that I have ever read. I have to agree with Brainiac that this is Claremont at his absolute best.
