Schwarzenegger's The Governator to Become a Movie, Too

Source: Deadline, Steve Jh, CineWebradio
April 4, 2011

CineWebradio and Deadline report that Arnold Schwarzenegger announced at MIPTV today in Cannes that in addition to an animated series and comic book, The Governator will become a 3D feature film as well. The former California Governor said the movie will be ready in early 2013.

"The Governator" will kick-off with a 52-episode animated series that will feature the voice and image of Schwarzenegger. The series is expected to launch in late 2012.

"The Governator" will have internet programming as well.

Yes it does because this is news about THE MOVIE VERSION IN LIVE ACTION

You know what? I miss those 80's/90's action cartoons, like G.I. Joe and Centurions. Voice work wont take him away from films either. *Cough*Expendables 2/Avatar 2*cough*

Yeah, I saw the trailer for the series and it was lame.

if he made a terminator animated series it would have at least been able to capture both kids and people who grew up watching the series, but the governator? It'll get viewers at first because of the name/see what he's doing...and then it'll bomb, i think anyway from how it looks so far

I think everything the world needs to see from Schwarzenegger as an official American authority (animated or not) was shown in The Simpsons the Movie.

Exactly .. I groaned at this.. (no pun intended)

The animation in the trailer made me curse the heavens for bestowing me with vision.

It's a throwback to '80s animation. So yeah, it sucks.

80s animation didn't suck that bad, man. It looked more like one of those ****** early to mid-90s kinda cartoon...like G.I.Joe Extreme and Action Man.*shudders*

When I saw this, I thought it was an April Fool's joke, but I guess it actually is real. I'm really curious why they felt a need to include a thinly veiled Mark Zuckerberg character. That's an odd pairing. Arnold and the guy who started Facebook.

Whatever. It sounds stupid and this thing will be dead in the water five minutes after it debuts.

Unless, of course, it's Transformers.

Just kidding!:hehe:

This looks kinda cool. Kinda like Stripperella, but not as sexy.

Looks kinda cool, count me in :D

I just feel that Arnold is at the age where he's..sadly, out of touch.
