I made it this far without Christmas music in the lobby.
I got here this morning to open, and.....j..joytotheworld...
I'm hearing the Christmas music, and will have to hear it 8 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week, till January. :(

Weep for me. :(


They knew I'd resist it, so the bastards sans balls waited till I was off, and just coerced my docile underling into putting....:(...disc after disc after disc of...Christmas music into the CD changer.


I was hoping...no one would notice, or say anything, about the NO CHRISTMAS MUSIC in the lobby. I got away with it one year.
A Whole Year without Christmas music molesting my ears!

It's....playing...I, hear it...now.

I'll be honest, there is only one aspect of Christmas that I loathe (aside from the rampant commercialism and throngs of morons clawing over the top of each other to get that "really good deal"), and that's the plethora of homogenized, pasteurized, sterilized, genericized Christmas music that is playing EVERYWHERE!!!! *gag*

No, it's worse than that. I snagged a Christmas CD from Billy Idol, since my wife loves Christmas music. My thought was "If I'm going to have to listen to it, I'll get it from someone who I KNOW rocked the F**K out of it! Yeah!!!!". But, no....Billy's doing his best Perry Como impersonation on that disc. Why, Billy!? Why!? :cmad: I did find a Brian Setzer Orchestra disc of rockabilly-bigbandified versions of Christmas music that's halfway listenable, though. :up:

He's pissed, all he wants for Christmas is a mistress, everyone else got one, but him.
 
So I opened all the presents while wifey was at work today. I'm getting a ps3 as it turns out. So all is not lost.


But damned if I didn't see that fleshlight I asked for. :cmad:

I am not leaving my house until after Christmas. I cannot believe the ridiculous amount of people that are shopping right now. Is there NO other time of year the people actually buy things?? :cmad:

I work at Wal-Mart and I'm absolutely amazed that they haven't started playing it yet. Usually those kind of stores are the first ones to do so. Though I have heard that some of the more, let's say jolly, employees have complained about now Christmas music yet.
