I haven't bought any albums beside Blueprint 3 this year. What else is worth picking up?

Mos Def, Black Thought and Em... DJ Premier... what more could you ask for?

Clipse is prolly the only group of rappers I give a pass on the constant drug-talk. Their swag is too real. :o
Me too. As I'm not American or a drug dealer half the stuff they said went over my head but after watching every season of The Wire I understand what their talking about now :awesome:

Jay Z was awesome on the Jools Holland show last week you should check out his performance on youtube.

Anyway as knowsbleed Mos Def's The Ecstatic.

upcoming stuff worth looking out for include Blakroc album. Its a rap/rock project by The Black Keys and Dame Dash featuring Mos Def, Jim Jones, ODB, RZA, Raekwon, Pharoahe Monch, Ludacris, Q-Tip and others.

The clipse new album is worth getting when that drops too.

Dizzee Rascal Tongue 'N' Cheek album.

Boy Better Know & Plan B are worth checking out as is Adam F Feat Redman - Shut The Lights Off.

Dirty Cash is awesome!

Cool to see rappers rhyme about the credit crunch and current affairs stuff rather than girls, cars, money all the time.

Yea Dizzee has really matured as an MC. Now don't get me wrong I love his grimey stuff too, some of his best verses ever were on his first album and that tune "Graftin'" is just sick. But yea, it's cool to see him chat about current affairs n that.

I thought the Clipse Till the Casket Drops was delayed and they were releasing it on december 8th

I like Grime but any MC that gets success is straight away called a sellout by half grime scene :o

That's because most of them are more bothered about "keep it real" rather than actually becoming artists.

I'm digging The Cool Kids. Probably because of their beats. They do my new Solobarics justice.

Its been awhile people....

Wale's album is so-so (The mixtapes are still nicer), Rakim's is okay...

Best albums of recent memory:
Rae-OBFCL2
Royce-Street Hop
Jigga-BP3
Kid Cudi-Man on the Moon

Albums to look forward to
Wu Massacre-Ghost/Rae/Meth album (the trailers are ill)
Clipse-Till the Casket Drops
Lupe Fiasco-Lasers (Wasalu gotta hurry up with this)
The Roots album (I love How I Got Over)
Redman-9 1/2
Nas and Damien Marley-Distant Relatives (hope Esco can sort out his problems and this and his solo joint in 2010 can drop. Hold your head up Nas. One.)
BOB-(Bobby Ray is the truth)

I never really understood the infatuation with Clipse. I've either seen people love them... or hate them. I lean more toward the latter I think. They are just too boring. If it weren't for their beats... they would just bore the hell out of me.

There pretty dope with the rhyme sceme. Plus you know, Coke Rap is always popular (Ghost and Rae, Esco, Early Hov, AZ)

Out of the ones you've listed... I'm only looking forward to Roots and Lupe.

I'm moreso looking forward to that Mos, Curren$y and Jay Electronica collabo.

Some kid sitting behind me on the train is basically explaining to someone why Lil Wayne is better than Ghostface Killah.

Slap him for me Terry.

What is he actually saying? I can't believe that is actually happening.

"Hey, do you know who Lil Wayne is, right?"

"Yeah."

"Do you know who Ghostface Killah is?"

"No."

"Well, there you go."

That was what he based his argument on.

For serious?!?! That makes me lose a little more faith in humanity.

I'd honestly feel compelled to turn round and give im a clip round the ear hole.

I'm not sure if that's hysterical or just flat out depressing.
