B.O.B. feat. Hayley Williams (from Paramore) & Eminem

Only on the second listen so far, but I'm really feeling it. Good lyrics, nice subject matter, and everyone was on point. Very mainstream accessible, and for once it'd actually be a good look for hip-hop.

I'm sure it doesn't need to be said, but Em ripped it again. All these guest features and working outside his isolated box seems to me like he really wants to branch out as an artist that can collaborate with his peers.

Yeah i've been waiting patiently for that track to show up, I can't wait for the 27th. I'm loving how Em is reaching out to other artists and getting out of his comfort zone with serial killer type of songs.

That's a very cool song. Never heard of B.O.B. until today.

I first heard of him when he put out an autotune diss track. Very hyped for the 27th

If only 8 Ball & MJG didn't push back their CD to May :argh:

Yeah, the new B.o.B and Em song is dope! Can't wait for both of their albums!

Gawd. I don't know what my favorite part of this song is. Hayley's killer chorus? B.O.B's awesome lyrics? Em going HARD? Such a great song.

just letting you guys know that rumor has it that this friday Em will release his first single from Recovery its called "Not Afraid"

It's not rumor, Em confirmed it via his Twitter. Anyway, it's very interesting that the title of the single doesn't sound like the typical, formulaic pop-friendly first single Eminem song. Sounds very serious and personal.

I really hope this marks the beginning of the end of that era. Because he's so clearly outgrown that style, and it's frankly annoying at this point.

Knowing our luck it'll be

"Not afraid, to pop bottles, in the club...".

"Not afraid to slap Kim in the face. Pop some pills, spray my mom with some mace. Come with me Hailey, let's get outta this place"

You know, the usual :(

Hopefully its true and Em does release his single this Friday. It'd be dope.

yeah its been cofirmed by the actual label, and it is premiering on Shade45 on thursday if you have siriius and also he just released a freestyle called "Despicable" over Drake's "Over" and Lloyd Bank's "Beamerz"

Picked up the B.O.B. CD today. Freakin love it. "5th Dimension" is prob my favorite track, it's just disgusting. There a song titled "Magic" that made me go WTF at first but it's actually pretty cool

I thought Relapse was great, personally. The sheer lyricism alone made it a strong album, and while some of the subject matter may have seemed repetitive, I looked at it more of Em examining that subject matter a little more and reflecting on it. Some of it is little more than shock value, but his skills as an emcee are never overshadowed, IMO.

And yeah, anyone who thinks Encore is better than Relapse . . . . :whatever:

Dude, get off it. Relapse was horrible; Em's new flow is annoying, his material isn't there anymore, and his passion has completely vanished by this point. Encore was Eminem's spirit on it's last life line. His passion was fading at this point, but it wasn't completely gone. As a whole it is at least passable and has a few laugh out loud tracks to make up for the mediocrity of the rest.

i might have to check out this B.O.B

i'm listening to Can I Fly right now and it's not too shabby

Dude you need to check out Not Afraid he apoligizes for Relapse and for the accent, it leaked earlier today but officially premiered on Em's Shade 45 at 10 this morning stating he won't use skits, and it will be all music.
