That song is amazing..Em just keeps spitting on it and you think his bit is never gonna end

But I think "Space Bound" and "You're Never Over" are my favorite tracks. SB because he basically goes through every emotion immediately following a breakup, YNO because it's just the best song off the album

Agreed.

My two favorite songs off Recovery are Cold Wind Blows and Space Bound.

I like Cold Wind Blows because it's (along with So Bad) reminiscent of the Slim Shady side of Em's personality. The quirky beats and sarcastic humor are great and fits him very well. But I hapen to prefer the Marshall Mathers side, because his lyrics ring truer and hit harder. I think for the most part that we've seen the last of Slim Shady, and Em is gonna tackle more serious themes in his songs from here on out

Yeah, I think you're right.

I do not know why he is putting Relapse down though. That is probably my third favorite Eminem album.

There's an interview he did where Em said that he was initially satisfied with Relapse, but that as he sobered up more he realized that he wasn't as on top of his game as he wanted to be. That's why Relapse 2 was scratched in favor of Recovery. If I can find the interview on YouTube I'll post it

I'm not saying that Relapse was a bad album, but the only song I REALLY liked was "Beautiful"

I didn't really care for Relapse at all. I'm loving Recovery though.

Kanye premiered his new track with Beyonce & Charlie Wilson:

I LOVE this track, it's just the right tone Kanye needs for his new album. That feel-good, soulful, positive hip-hop. Not like that's not what he's been doing, but this almost is an ode to the College Dropout days...which I've been dying to hear again for ages.

This is my morning wake-up theme for a good while.

Oh, and "I'mma let you finish, but I got Beyonce on the track!". Kanye's a fool. :funny:

Its alright kind of feels...generic. Did Kanye produce it his beats always sound better. The hook wasnt that good, lyrics were pretty clever as always
Its not bad, just not that good. But with Beyonce and Kanye this will definitely hop to the top 10

i actually kinda like it. like Crook said, reminiscent of College Dropout and I love that album

As far as the rap game is concerned right now, Eminem is back at the top where he belongs, Drake is killing it, Weezy is poised to make a huge comeback (his new song with Drake called "Right Above It" is pretty hot), and I'm hearing way too much Rick Ross on the radio for my own good.

Boy, Kanye is just trying too hard with the nonsensical statements lately.

First he says Nicki Minaj could end up being #2 rapper of all time behind Eminem (:whatever:), and now Swizz beats is the best rap producer of all time...

:lmao:

Right Above It is okay, but Drake's verse is just the verse he did on Tim Westwood a few weeks ago but not as good. It just doesn't flow right.

You're right, it is part of his Westwood "freestyle", but it sounds better in Right Above it. Flow seemed on point to me.

Ross is destroying this summer . I'd rather hear him than Drake and Lil Wayne for sure

Sorry but I can't take him seriously. He's by far the fakest rapper that exists in mainstream rap today and I don't think I need to explain why. He tried to start beef with 50 and just got himself embarrassed, and now Jeezy's taking shots at him for being so fake. I'll admit he's got nice flow on some tracks as well as some super hot beats recently (love the Aston Martin Music instrumental), but his voice and "trademarks" ("HUHHH"..."ROSAY") are annoying and he relies too heavily on features from other artists (like 95% of Teflon Don).

I've stopped caring about how "real" rappers are after the Jay/Nas "feud". They're mostly a bunch of ex drug dealers and gangbanger homies who say some words over a hopefully sick beat. Ross could work at Chuck E. Cheese's in his spare time but when his verse in "Hello Good Morning" starts, the bass in my car goes up......and it stays there.

I wish he'd respond to Beanie Sigel callin him out so he can get destroyed. But he'd most likely just have Weezy swoop in and battle for him. Yeah yeah, I'm sure this is Beanie's last ditch effort to return to relevance but the dude is disgusting on the mic. Too bad he can't stay out of jail :(

Rick Ross is beyond wack. That song B.M.F. is terrible

Damn, never met anybody who didn't like that song. Nice to meet ya lol
