I played around with some shadows. I am not 100% happy with it. It would have come out better if I used a pen tool insted of my mouse. I need to invest in one soon. At the very least for when I go back to school for media art.

I did something a bit different this time. I didn't use brushes for the shadows since my mouse is a pain in my assets. I wasn't into the BG though. It came out better then most of my past ones though.

Keep the line art coming CC. The thread isn't dead yet it will pick up again I am sure. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. I do have a few requests.

Good stuff there BB Im diggin the metallic effect and you've got just the right amount of glow to his glowy bits.

glad to see some new coloring jobs put up while i was out of town.

i plan on posting some new lineart on monday so stay tuned. and by all means, just cuz there's new linearts being posted, it doesn't mean you can't go back and try out coloring some of the past entries.

I wanted to try some new stuff with this one. Still working on shadowing with photshop. But I am getting there.

_BB_, great job on the Iron Man. one thing i find affective when coloring metal is to draw strong, thin, white lines in certain places, specifically right beside the line art. give it a try if u want, but still a great job.

bgates87, that Hulk looks pretty good. i'd suggest a more highlighting, but the shadows and shades are nice.

I really didn't see the walls as clinical white when I first looked at it. What I saw was a dark room devoid of light, very dirty and unfriendly. But I can see your point too. It does have a Saw 1 room look to it. Thanks for the input.

That's what i saw, the saw look, no natural sunlight, just some swinging single light source in some clinic.

Why would the walls be white when the tiles are obviously old and not looked after? they have massive cracks in them if anything the lightest would be dirty grey

dirty white then but white nonetheless.

Dorky, i made an attempt at doing the white line thing after looking at some lighting tutorials but it just looked so weird to me when i did it and ended up smudging most of it away. Guess i havent yet got the hang of it.
