Power girl looks really happy there... holding up the evidence of destruction...

I know this is a terrible, but I like the shading on her cleavage, Manic. I also like texture on the side of the slab. The background is dark, so I'd encourage you to be more bold with the shadows on her body.

It's a little embarrassing, but I think I put more effort into the cleavage than most other parts of that picture.

I really had no clue how to approach coloring in her costume, though. It's supposed to be all white, and that opened up a can of worms for me. I originally used a light shade of blue to shade it in. In fact, everything I colored was a hell of a lot brighter. I tried using a Burn Tool brush, but it still came up a smidge too bright. The references I found on Google Images were all pretty bright (not many Power Girl pictures at night).

are you using brushes on low opacity or trying to find a straight color to use as a shadow? If you use a low opacity brush, it's a lot easier.

I've been using 100% opacity, but keeping the brushes on Multiply. I'll try reducing the opacity in the future. Thanks.

All the submits look awesome specially the ones from EdRider ( i loved the superman with the lasers coming out of his eyes, it's on my dektop right now)
Right now Im taking a tutorial on how to colour lineart on photoshop, so maybe in a couple of months I'll be submitting my Paint and ComicChick's lineart
Keep up the good work guys

Everyone's power girls are looking awesome but I have to give it up to EdRyder your hell boy is really cool

but is that a stock photo used of the clouds? pleeeeeease get rid of it cos IMHO it really doesn't mesh with the linework.

No, I actually painted the backround by hand, but I did use a cloud shaped brush..Thats probly why it looks "stock" What can I say, Im lazy sometimes.I have no excuse :oldrazz:

I see I'm the only one who said "F the white outline" and just colored it to match the rock.

great work yet again Ed.

I am working on the X-Men one, but not sure if I am happy enough with it to post it yet.
