Very nice :woot:

Could someone color this? It's a trunks-less, modern design (ala "Ultimate Superman") that looks pretty cool:

I figure this would be a cool piece for people to try, since it's nicely inked and the Heath Joker looks awesome.

I will, I still need to finish it up a bit. These 12 hour days at work are leaving me litte time to get to it though. I have two more characters to finish up still.

GuysCan anyone help? Whenever I download lineart to try and colour, it always opens in balck and white and my pallet won't change t colour, what am I doing wrong? Only one piece of lineart has ever worked.

If you are useing Photoshop then you need to click on your image tag at the top of the screen, the click mode after that click RGB color. that will let you color it after that.

Oh my god finally someone with an easy answer
i've been trying to color lineart since i got here and the photoshop would'nt let me
Thanks a lot Ring Deacon
you've been really helpful

Yeah sometimes when you open up lineart photoshop will automatically put it in grayscale so you have to change it to RGB

Side note: if you ever want to print your colored work, it's better to select the CMYK mode. Printers are fussy about that (I know because I am one ;p)

Heres a pretty simple and straightforward tut for coloring in Photoshop made by Adi Granov :woot:

Thanks for the answer, is the solution pretty much the same for other art packages, does sanyone know? I don't have photoshop on my laptop just something called photo-impact and also the microsoft paint application which is probably too basic.

I've got quite a few sketches and whatnot that I could never color myself, I'm wondering if anyone on here would be interested in giving some of them a shot? I'll post some of them here now.

just did I hope.

i was coming to post the new lineart when I saw all this.

btw I have NO problem with a mod coming in a deleting the fan art and/or moving those posts to the Fan Art thread.

NEW LINEART!

Alright, let's kick this off!

First off we have Joker and Harley by Charles H. Jr. aka Kid Notorious on DevArt. This lineart was suggested by Crook.

Next we have an Indiana Jones lineart, as suggested by Ed Ryder. This also ties in well with the May Fan Art Contest.
