The first movie was great, but I admit that because I watched all the commercials and read all the spoilers, there pretty much wasn't any real surprise on-screen when I finally saw it.

So this time around, I've vowed to avoid as many commercials and spoilers as I can so I go in blind and experience as much of it as possible for the first time.

In this 24/7 media, it'll be hard, but for those of you with me, sign on.

This is a good idea in theory...but in practice not so easy for me.
I've managed to not be spoiled by anything Wolverine:Origins, and largely Transformers: ROTF...but this is going to be tough...have you seen the 'hall of armors':wow:

I'll try to as well.

So far this year I've stayed away from everything Wolverine, Terminator and Transformers.

The only movie I know everything about is Angels and Demons, but that's only cause I read the book in late '07.

I'm in. I think the thread title is reasonably realistic.

I try my hardest not to tell you that Wolverine kills Black Widow with the lead pipe in the dining room with Colonel Mustard. Oops! :wow:

I didn't read any of the spoilers for the first film and yet the trailer and commercials showed everything so it didn't matter. It's not like I'm going to change the channel everytime a commercial comes on for it.

I've gotta watch the trailers and commercials, but I'll try to stay away from those spoilers.

Spoilers are like sweet, powdery crack to me.

sorry I'm out!

I'm pretty much on board with this thread because I don't like to spoil myself with movies I'm really amped to see. With the first Iron Man movie I didn't know a lot about the character so I didn't try to do any research and I just waited until the movie came out. I still haven't done a ton of research, especially as far as his villains are concerned so whatever happens in part two will pretty much be a surprise for me.

I want to start clean and not look at anymore spoilers but i just got to get these ones out of my system .. its about the script
you looked

Spoilers never ruins the movie experience for me for some reason. so good luck, to anyone who is trying this.

I'm on board -- IM for me isn't as irresistible or interesting to stay away from like the Spider-Man or Batman franchise. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the first movie is (only saw two trailers), and I want something similar to that come May 7, 2010.

This weekend with Comic-con is going to be the first real test. You know there's going to be some footage, and it will be leaked.

I'm too big a fan of Iron Man not to want to see everything, plus I have no problem with spoilers, thet never ruin the film for me, so I'm out, but good luck to those who are in.

I understand, it was same way for me as far as not much surprises, but such a huge Iron Man fan and seeing it all on screen, it was ok and will be ok for Iron man 2.

I think that the banter and fights are gonna be the main drawing appeal, and text summaries won't ruin that for me. I'm not too worried about spoilers.

I saw War Machine in the trailer....
so......***** SPOILERS!

I'M IN. I mean, I'll watch the stuff they release, but I'm not gonna go digging through the internet for pics of toys that reveal **** about the movie. I've kinda killed movies before reading about them on every site so I'll cease starting NOW.
