I have it, and it's next on the agenda after I finish Abercrombie's Half The World.

Bit late, but yeah Rike is a great guy. I'm looking forward to Lawrence's Red Sister trilogy. New world and all.

Prince of Fools was pretty good, though I think comparatively I preferred Prince of Thorns and Jorg, but it worked well in being it's own thing and not just a repeat of the Thorns trilogy. It's one of the best settings in Fantasy though, and the expansion of the world is just brilliant.

Have you finished Berserk yet?

There are Ghosts in Midland, and I am one of them.

**** is popping in the 'Suicide Squad' Joker thread. Some posters just want to watch the Hype burn…. :hoboj:

the 'damaged' tattoo ... wow. terrible. and the forearm has a better smile than grill joker.

It seems too...self-aware for the Joker. Plus having a tattoo right on his forehead looks stupid.

I've seen a woman my town with her boyfriend's name tattooed across her forehead. It looks very, very stupid.

Eventually enough people will complain.

The same way they complained about Ledger without seeing the film first. Just saying.

And before someone chimes in with the counter of "I'm sick of using Ledger as a defense ect. ect..."

Well... a lot of us are sick of the usual tedious fanboy freakouts about this stuff. Don't want to hear about how in hindsight the Ledger freakout looks ridiculous cats and kittens... Don't freakout in the first place.

I'm not freaking out... I think a tattoo on his forehead and a lil wayne grill are stupid. sue me.

i do dig comic comparisons though.

I think Reek the sooner we in the fan community can hold our powder dry and actually wait for the finished product, the happier we'll all be. Just my two cents Reek.

Lol She'd want to hope that the relationship lasts!

I think aesthetically with the Joker, there's a lot of room to take the character, and if someone needs a comic book source for validation of the look then they can check out Frank Miller's All-Star Joker with his heavily tattooed appearance.

That said, I just plain don't like it. I love when they mix things up with a character's on-screen appearance, like Bane in TDKR, but here the aesthetics just don't hold much appeal to me.

I hope you have sons! Handsome, beautiful, articulate sons who are talented, and star athletes, and they have their legs taken away! I want you to know that pain!

I blame Heath Ledger for being too good as the Joker in The Dark Knight. Visually and performance wise I don't think it can be topped or equaled.

Or blind and was told it was surgery taking off some nasty skin condition. :o
