The numbers on the poll show what the majority thinks... Whiners keep on whining! This movie is gonna blow 03' COMPLETELY from the memory banks... It wasn't horrible Ang just did too many things wrong! And that's from someone who enjoyed and defended the movie.

I just think alot of the negative votes were based on the Unfinished CGI shots of earlier trailers and previously in this thread I think I called them out on this practice of creating these sorts of polls before seeing finished shots.

If some of the CGI was improved, it was because that was always going to be the case, not because of complaints on a messageboard.

Gotta love the misplaced critic ego. We were telling complainers months ago that for every complaint they had was probably already mentioned by someone weeks before by people who are payed to do that job on the movie.

It's funny to think they were like "Yay, they changed it! I made a difference! I'm somebody!"

TBH it sounds asif the complainers are trying to justify all their moaning by saying the effects were improved because of them :whatever:.

Lol, true. I said from the start that the CG wasn't up to standard, but that I expected them to improve it to above Ang Lee quality..... I'm finding it quite difficult to throw around some "I told you so's" now.

ANyone else knotice that slowly but surely he is more and more reminicent of the statue featured at the german Comic Con thing.

His skin is smoother, the color is darker, and the hair is grungier.

this poll would've so different had it started after these spots were released, and imagine if it was started after the film comes out cos i'm sure the cgi will be tweaked even more.

Um, that statue is seen in theaters across the country now. And IMO
it's could look better if it wasn't made to be massed prodused.

Well it was everyones opportunity to have a go when the cgi was unfinished, now all the doubters seem to have vanished.

No, they are just recouping. They will still be saying the CG sucks as soon as we see more footage.

Lol, I have noticed the 'doubters' don't seem to be posting at the minute, hmm.....:woot::oldrazz:.

They must be in a state of shock cos this is some serious recouping. maybe they have.nt finished going through all 3 spots frame by frame yet!

You minds as well call everyone out then. Be it positive/negative, we all took part on critiquing the effects we had at the time. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

If anything, it shows just how much naysayers were right in the complaints, when many were ready to settle. Clearly A LOT of improvement was made, and I'm glad it was.

I'm willing to bet they're going through them looking for faults, one of hulks hair's is out of place, the jeans should have an extra rip, Abombs toe looks like a shrivelled sausage......:woot:.

I think the point is for months people have been telling the naysayers that the effects will be improved and they should just wait before writing off the cgi in this movie, yet alot refused to listen.

Tell me about it they're probably at the last 3 seconds of the last tv spot thinking to themselves 'oh no running out of footage'.

How could you people say that Ang Lee's Hulk was better? He was the size of freaking Godzilla!

Speak for yourself. I resigned not to vote in this poll until we were close to the release of this movie. All earlier banter was speculative. And with those T.V. spots I think I can resolutely make my choice for Norton's Hulk.

I understand the sentiment. On the other hand, it is also a rare occurrence for effects to make such a dramatic turn merely weeks before release. Sure, effects improve all the time, from the teaser to the tv spots. Those films, however, were marketed over the span of a year, whereas this film was hardly a blip up until a couple weeks ago. That's where a lot of the resentment came from, because people weren't impressed with the effects given all the time that has passed and how much was left until the release.

As I said though, I'm very glad the sfx has improved. I myself was underwhelmed but the recent material has lifted my hopes.

I don't have to speak for myself since clearly over 250+ people voted in this poll regardless of what they felt about the sfx.

All earlier banter was speculative.
As is with all discussion on this entire board.

While this is true, if you look at the Abomination, since the early trailers he has looked fantastic. The Hulk has just been the one in question, think of how long King Kong would have taken to make if they had to have 2 Kongs? Which is essentially what Hulk is doing

well it was not the plan from beginning to add the shirt on hulk after 2 months.

While true, would the title character not receive the most attention, and therefore should be the one looking in top form compared to all the other sfx shots?

I think its definitely backwards from what logic would deduce, however to me it is what to me it appears they did.

The Hulk is also probably in 3 times the scenes Abom is? At least in the trailers it appears that way, so thats more work for the Hulk than Abom

Empire magazine said the finished CGI was almost photorealistic and Louis Leterrier said it was past King Kong.

What do you all think after watching these TV Spots?

Then my question is have we seen the finished product? cause i think it looks great and some scenes look photo realistic, but some don't

I'm sure that R&H are going to be working on the finished effects aswell, not drastic changes but just tweaks to improve them.
