I guess my perception on CGI isn't as great as others. It looks fine to me.

It's easier to create something small in CG than it is Hulk. Davy Jones looked good, but they had a human to work with, and all the clothes, etc. The Hulk is just too large a character so your eyes are going to automatically look at it and know it's CG.

how did a movie that came out in 2003 have better cgi than this?

william h. macy... i am shocked that they waited this long to show us anything, and that's what they came up with.

i hope that they're working on it, and that it'll look better by the time this is released, but if that's the best they had to show us, then man... boo.

everything else looked pretty *****in', though. i can't complain about that.

It's easier to create something small in CG than it is Hulk. Davy Jones looked good, but they had a human to work with, and all the clothes, etc. The Hulk is just too large a character so your eyes are going to automatically look at it and know it's CG.

That really isn't it. After all, the Kracken was also CGI and I never thought about it for a second. It has to do with imperfections in the skin (this is why Abomination already looks a hell of a lot better than the Hulk model) and proper specular highlights. Both of these things are absent from what I saw of the trailer.

No, I'm not Batman fanboy, and definitely not Hulk hater. As I say, I really like Ang Lee's movie.

I loved the Ang hulk but damn this one looks alot better and slightly more realistic.

Meh. The only real difference that I can make out between these two is that the pants actually look like pants now. Everything else looks mighty similar.

Then again. You are comparing the best picture of Ang's Hulk with the first and only picture we have of this one. Compared to most of the movie, this Hulk is leagues ahead of the past. They still need to seriously touch him up though.

It looks fantastic to me. No actually it looks F'ing incredible to me like comic book Hulk had sex with the tv Hulk and had a Ed Norton Hulk awesomeness. The Hulk roar i heard in the trailer is the same Hulk roar i've been hearing in my mind since i first heard of TIH's production.(I should probably go to a doctor about that). Abom looks muthaphu.#@@% great too.

To remind the blind fanboys why this movie needs to be made:

the design of the new hulk is definitely better...

but ang's hulk just looks better integrated into his environment. meaning, it's better cgi. letterier's looks like a big plastic toy, even though the cg model they're using is great, and very well detailed, ang's is just better detailed, and just, for lack of a better description, 'fits'.

honestly, i think the new hulk is just to damn shiny. if they dulled him down, he'd look much better. especially considering he just crawled out of crumbled asphalt. you'd think he'd be dustier.
