dude...I'm not really a fan of the professor incarnation but that is the sweetest ****ing tat I've ever seen. Major props to the artist. The shadowing is intense.

the movie adaption from 2003. Outside of that, the Hulk doesn't grow, he gets stronger when he gets angry in all the comics.

I've seen it & I swear I'll post the picture if I find it. I couldn't believe he grew in the comic either but he did. I should've posted it back when I had it but nevertheless, if I find it again, the picture will be posted.

you know, the smart hulk is still a fave, but i re-read all the smart hulk comics and they are pretty lame! i got that tattoo in 1997 and back then smart hulk was awesome! i think any savage hulk dale keown draws it fantastic, and im looking at one for a new tattoo. but my all time fave hulk is sal bucema's savage hulk from late 70's ealry 80's.

I still like the Professor Hulk stuff a lot. Hell, Future Imperfect was that incarnation.
I'm with you on the Sal Bucema savage Hulk though. That was Hulk's greatest era. His best depiction in the comics and he was a successful TV star on top of that. Hulk may have been Marvel's greatest star at that time.

I am likin' the Hulk's new look. He looks more toned and long. That being said istill want to see bigger pex and thighs/calfs And he has got to have veins bursting out of his arms /shoulders and maybe a little bit in his upper chest. His face is a 100% improment also and I too think it has some Lou Ferrigno chacteristics. A+

He also looked wrong with bunny slippers too (cant recall specific issue number, but i do remember this being shown in The Ultimate Guide as well).

Oh, and most definately agree on sal bucema's savage hulk being nothing short of Incredible (pun intended).

I thought the bunny slipper thing was funny. David had such a "tongue in check", "wink" to reader sort of sly humor that made his stuff fun to read.

Yeah, the slippers are definately different. And probably one of the most UNexpected things you would imagine the Hulk in ( black boots aside ), but on the other hand Peter David added alot of great and unexpected things with Hulk mythos during his run! Which were appreciated. His current She-Hulk run is very entertaining as well.
