WOW! It's good to see that name again. We'll have to catch up later. I'm off to look at an apatement building. Good to see you.

First of all, I don't buy for a second that you are in contact with anyone related to any movie. Anyone who does is a serious sucker. Nice attempt at getting attention and being a big shot.

Um, yeah. Welcome to the Hulk forums, that's all I'll say.

I wish he were more this shade of green. Just a deep emerald.

Secondly, that logic doesn't hold. Somehow people only have room in their minds and time in their day to be hyped and excited for one superhero movie at a time? Give me a break, that's completely ridiculous. Most likely, the reason we haven't seen a Hulk trailer yet is simply due to post-production not being far enough along yet.

BrecK! What you doing in the Hulk branch of the woods again? Havn't seen you since the Ang Wars here!

I beg to differ. I am in contact with the execs at Marvel and have made attempts to explain to you guys what the marketing campaign is and you choose to either not understand, ignore the obvious or simply don't want to hear it. Marvel is simply marketing one movie at a time. Do you see a trailer for the Punisher? Let me clarify this: ALL MARVEL MADE MOVIES which Marvel has marketing control of are being marketed one at a time. It's like Pepsi marketing a new Mountain Dew flavor and a new Pepsi product at the same time. One will take away from the other. Iron Man is first on Marvels list of movies and is being marketed first. Then the Hulk. When it's done it will be something to remember I'm told. We will be happy. They are not marketing at our pace. It is all planned out. Read what I was told: They would rather market it right, perfectly rather than fast (as did the 2003 mistake by Universal) so we would be happy with the results. Besides, Iron man has the stage right now. We won't market both at the same time as not to take away from the other. Okay, so that's the bottom line. When they are finished pushing IM, the Hulk is up next.
see, the logic of promoting one movie at a time but releasing 2 in the space of 3 months or so is ******ed. Why not just release one movie a year and concentrate on that movie all the way through?

It they do wanna do that... then why release TIH so close to IM, why not push him back a bit?...Why give TIH a shorter post production period than IM?... Even you said that they were waiting for R&H to send them finished stuff, we are nearly 4 months away and they still havent seen any fnished CGI yet?... This is because Marvel starting late and now the CGI isnt done yet and they cant/wont promote without finished CGI, if it was the other way around (TIH before IM), Marvel would have started shooting earlier and we would have had SOMETHING at Xmas

I couldn't imagine being hyped for only one movie at a time...

Currently my list includes: The Dark Knight, The Incredible Hulk, The X-Files, Quantam of Solace, Hellboy 2, and Diary of the Dead (I hope that releases everywhere)

Diary of the Dead was trash and it breaks my heart to say it.

You don't have to buy into anything and why are you and your bud so green about it. I'm sorry you don't know anyone and frankly, don't care. So why don't you post back and forth with your friend in your own little world of pessimism and non-belief. I don't need you to, nor do I ask for people to either. I chose to share info and you bash and rant without provacation or facts to back your claim I don't know anyone. Maybe someday you may meet someone of significance. I have a quest for you. Prove me wrong, and speculative posts don't count. Just the facts. Put your money where your mouth is, or keep it closed.

Burden of Proof is on you.

Like outside of a breif blurb on IGN, how come no other sights mentioned any clip or notable footage at Toy Fair. There has been no other mention of news of this Hulk size magnitude for a big budget franchise restart. AICN, CHUD, Dark Horizons, Joblo.com, Action-figure.com... nada, zip, zero word of mouth.

It was already reported after the last Toy Fair and isn't fresh news. I chose to share it only because I was able to attend in NY (my home town!). It was no longer a big deal to the above mentioned media sites, only to us here at SHH boards. The footage was shown on a looping video (that was also proven). It was obviously something made for the shows to promote the toys and movie ties. Since you say the proofs on me, you live in Central Florida, right? Lets meet and I will show you concrete proof, but put your money where your mouth is. You Kevin stand to lose your funds and if you are man enough, you can apologize publicallly on the boards. Until then dude, don't come at me unless YOU can prove me wrong. I have undeniable, non-fabricated, time stamped proof. What do you have...a sense of doubt Kevin? That being said, your responses are no longer worth retorting. Unless, you are bringing the dough. I hope everyone understands I am calling you out in a friendly way and hoping it aint against the rules here to place an honest bet. One you are going to lose Kevin.

ALRIGHT GUYS! COME ON... You're waisting valuable manip space with this useless conversation. LOL!

Lets lighten up here.

Sorry EB but this would only make sense if TIH wasnt coming out until 6 months after IM, not 2.

And BTW Punisher is with Lionsgate not Marvel, so Lionsgate decide when that trailer comes out, and we were told March months ago, unlike TIH.

Do you see other studio's doing this when they are releasing movies so close together.

Last year Die Hard 4.0 and FF2 were out within a month of each other, yet both had a trailer almost a year before release, what Marvel is doing with TIH just doesnt make sense.

Let me touch on a few things: I think IMHO that the closeness in release dates is to tie-in the crossover storyline to generate the buzz for the upcoming Avenger movie. The other thing regarding the release dates is that IM would get killed coming out mid summer being new and all. He would get lost in the shuffle between TDK and IJ4. Also, Punisher is Lionsgate and you answered your statement with the release date. Lionsgate I assume is handling the marketing. Also realize that TIH is far complex a movie than Punisher or Indy or TDK as far as CGI is concerned. Cgi used in those movies are more for scene fx or what have you, while TIH is using them for the main characters which we both know is a daunting task to begin with. have to wait until TIH is ready (sigh) to see a full blown trailer. What I saw at the TF was awesome and I expect something greater. We obviously as fans would rip the movie apart if we feel its not close to perfect. While the fx in the other films mentioned are just as important but less centralized in the fx area if you get my point. They are more stunt orientated than fx based. Finally, DH4 and FF2 although both put out by the same company have no correlation to one another and were both shot on way different schedules yet both were ready to air a trailer around the same time. Even if it took a year to film FF2 and six months for DH4, they I guess finished in time to release a trailer. That was coincidence rather than planned.

They wouldn't have that problem if they used a "Man-in-a-suit"

Hey!!! Stop throwing things, OUCH who threw the rock? OUCH!!! Stop. I was kidding

They are.

didnt they say thats what they were aiming for?... the final design might not actually be EXACTLY that. I remember Ang Hulk had a different design at CC.

Yes but EB who has seen the Hulk at the Toy Fair said that the face is that of the concept-art.

If they did make any changes it might have just been colour or slight changes to the hair is my guess.

oh yeah, frogot about what EB said. I hope they didnt mess with his face all, thats just perfection IMO, except the scars.

Well ya know they are keeping the scars and added a small mole to the Hulk cos Norton has these scars and a small mole so they think these will stay with Hulk after the transformation.

But I don't wanna get into that scars/healing factor arguement again! Don't let this little detail spoil a great movie for you!

Can you find that design, I am curious to see the difference between it and the final design.:yay:
