I knew they'd improve the CGI from what we'd been shown, but I wasn't expecting all this. That's a crazy level of detail. I have no qualms.

The old one looks better to me.

Anyway, the main problem I have is the animation. That's always the problem with CGI.

Also this looks just ****ing HORRIBLE. It just looks completely wrong and fake.

its simple.

yeah a big difference. the scene where they added the shirt had a better skin. the specular was smaller.
i am suprised that they are changing so much shots . i know that this will sound now strange but i have a feeeling that they are doing this because of all complaining on the itnernet.

fact is that it is not normal to have so big and so many changes 1 month before the premiere. it is not normal. so someone got scared.

When Fox was about to release their second AVP film, one of the directors mentioned that released footage is approved of up to 3 months in advance. It's rare to find footage that's rushed into a cut. Thus, what we see early on is what things looked like 3 months beforehand. The same goes over here. I doubt that the shots where Hulk looks unpolished will survive to the final cut, as odds are they were dealt with some time ago. By now, I expect that the final cut is already done or pretty close to being done.

I'd probably vote incredible and poor. There are shots were the Hulk simply looks stunning. Then there are others where he just looks fake as hell.

The only shot I'm really disappointed about is the thunder clap. A lot of people have been waiting to see it, but the Hulk looks far from complete in it. That, along with the ground pound, could've been better.

I know it sounds cliche by now but they could still be working on it, they still have a couple of weeks.

Oh, I figure that this is footage approved of some time ago. What I don't understand is why this didn't look better when they approved of it being used in a TV spot. It seems more like they're doing some minimal rendering with the animatic work, then applying the details into individual chunks of plates. I'm all for working on it until the last second, but by now we should have material completely filled with impressive CGI. They could conceivably rush in some TV spots that strictly use the finalized bits.

What's the period between tv spots being made and then being shown? These could've been made a couple weeks ago before being distributed, or however they do it.

Either way, I think i'm considering this almost equal to my TDK hype. Two completely different kinds of awesome.

theres one thing im not getting tho, if these spots were approved some time ago then whats up with the hulk banner? he looks completly different in it without the shirt etc.. further proves what i thought before, they just grabbed a still from the previous trailer and photoshopped the hell out of it..

If he only looked as good as that in every other shot. Some daytime shots still look horrible. I hope that changes once they are done with all effects.

Only problem I have is that I hope Hulk's eyes don't glow in the cave scene with betty, that sounds like a very emotional scene, we need to see the emotion from the beasts eyes and I feel the glow will be a distraction, his eyes should only glow when he's peed.
