My opening statement: There will be no new show, I'm talking about the old one by Kenneth Johnson back in 1978.

I'm watching this show again, it's something I saw some episodes of back in 1994, and I really liked it then, I honestly like it more now.
Looking at the technology difference between then and now, they did a very swell job at adapting the comic book character with what they had at the time, their take on the origin is clever, and possibly a lot less goofy than the comic book origin of the character.

As a fan of the comic book character, I really love that they took the Physicist and made him a Physician instead, I like that job more, and I'm pleased it inspired live action adaptions to take the Physician route.

I don't want to imagine how they might have handled the Leader or Abomination have they attempted to do them in the show, at least they did another version of the Hulk, and that idea is pretty good for the show.

Glad Stan convinced Kenny to keep the skin color of the Hulk green, for someone with a child like mind the color green fits better than red.

Loved this show. I own all 5 seasons. Bixby was the man.

Loved the show growing up but tv Hulk was so underpowered compared to the way he is in all the cartoons & movies. The live action Spider-Man tv from the 70's was disappointing also when compared to the movies but still thankful that we got them.

the show should have lasted 10 seasons, but at least there were the reunion movies. And there should have been one more of those, but alas, Bixby became too ill and passed.

I always loved the show (I own all 5 seasons on DVD)....Bixby was great as Banner and Lou was great as the Hulk.

I loved the way that they had him transform. It was so dramatic. They would build up to it..then that humming sound would play and they'd show his eyes..loved it! I also like the way the bad guys never actually saw him change. They would throw him down some stairs, or turn their back to him laughing.

This show was a big hit back in the 70's. The only reason it was cancelled was because of the budget.

I heard later on that the final ep was going to be Mr.McGee finally catching up with Banner and then realising that he was the cause of Elaina's death (from the pilot) and reason Banner was on the run for all those years; would have been great.

This, and the 1982 Hulk cartoon (the one where Banner would be fully dressed when he changed back :D) are still my favorite Hulk series'.

A great show that deserves the love it still gets!

I used to love watching this on the sci-fi channel with my step grandapa. This and The Flash.

All seasons are on Netflix, I go back and watch some episodes sometimes
