The James Randi million dollar challenge

Since there's alot of talk here recently about spiritual/supernatural stuff and the like, has anyone heard of the James Randi challenge? It's basically this; James Randi, seemingly not believing in the supernatural world and willing to go to great dpeths to prove this, has put a challenge up that if you can prove something supernatural, you win a million dollars. So far, nobody has been able to win this money. Many people, including psychic Sylvia Brown, have refused to take this challenge (some have accepted it but never actually stepped up to the plate).

So, with this challenge and no takers/winners, does the supernatural world really exist?

That cheating wench Browne avoids James Randi like the plague. She once offered to accept the challenge, on Larry King live, and quickly backed down.

Yeah, a couple accepted it but most don't just because Randi is a pro and he knows what to look for.

As for Syvia Brown, I wish she would take it Live on CNN, it would be so great to see her fail against Randi too.

I'm not familiar with any direct failure but I have read/heard of her failing in the past.

I also remember seeing him on 20/20 I believe where he goes through quite a few of the popular "mind" bending tricks The spoon, key, and blowing on paper/pencil with special breathing technique making it appear to be moved by the mind heh heh

Yeah, it's a great vid. The first reply in this post actually had the link to this vid. Notice Uri couldn't do it and didn't even attempt anything.

All this said, I would never personally try to embarass a magician/mentalist if they are only doing it for entertainment (and if I knew the effect), with that, I would enjoy the show because they're really only trying to entertain you for fun, not direct your life or something. It's the ones (psychics) who try to tell people their fortunes (which is just a bunch of lies) to make money off of that.
