I want to make a YouTube video to spread the word about the Extended Edition campaign. When the video is updated, I'll give the video as "reponses" to other Avatar-related videos, whether it's the tv-show or the movie. The video will tell people to write letters to the producers.

But I need some advice. Can anyone give me some pointers on what I should say in the video, in order to inspire the viewers?

I already think that I should say: "Remember, we are demanding this. When you write your letters, tell...[Who do we send the letters to?]...that THEY are the ones who will be losing things if they refuse to release the Extended Edition." (Can anyone tell me how to make this point more vividly?)

I'm also thinking of saying: "At this point, releasing the Extended Edition is the only way Shyamalan can salvage any chance of completing the trilogy."

Would anyone like to give me some more ideas?

:)

There's already an extended edition. It's the TV show.

I already got a message on YT inviting me to join the "release the extended edition" campaign, and I already declined it.

I stand by what I said in June, people. This movie is ****, plain and simple. Biggest waste of a good property since GI Joe Rise of COBRA. If M. Night had gone the route Peter Jackson went with Lord of the Rings, this could've been excellent enough to restore his dignity and his status as a good director. But he didn't, and now here we are. How the mighty have fallen...

wasn't that mighty, so fall was kinda short...like falling off a flood curb.

I mean that this is it. He's officialy rock bottom for him with me. Ever since Signs and ESPECIALLY The Viliage, M. Night has been going down an ever-increasing slope in terms of declining creativity and his inability to make good movies anymore, yet I'd been cutting him a LOT of slack. I mean, he's PROVEN he can do good, even ICONIC movies with both Unbreakabe and, of course, The Sixth Sense. After seeing The Last Airbender, though, it makes me feel sad to say that he's not a good director anymore. I'm afraid if I go back and re-watch Unbreakabe and The Sixth Sense that I 'd ending up hating them because of what Shyamalan's become. That's why I said "How the mighty have fallen". :waa:

people need to calm down.. this movie wasnt anywhere near as bad as GI Joe lol
Gi Joe was as bad as Batman and Robin

as far as the RT rating (6%)... im not sure how it has a lower rating than My Soul To Take.. which is arguably one of the worst movies of the decade lol

ill rent the dvd/blu-ray as long as there's some decent BTS of the vfx.

.....You never saw the show it's based off, didn't you?

My teacher's husband works for M'night and she was also in that video somone posted. She says he's a good guy and he had alot of footage but the studio told him to cut it. She said it was a stupid idea to change the name's tho. She said he is working on the 2nd movie and is waiting on how the DVD release to see how it does.
So i advise all of you not to buy the dvd so you dont support this garbage movie and so it wont poison the world with a second movie.

I really hope she doesnt see this lol.

Please, stop with the torture! Everyone who wants to buy this DVD, just watch Legend of Korra when it comes out, and support that... This movie rapes the series... and the second one will not recover... The reason why Paramount is questioning whether to make a sequel is not because of the Box Office revenue. It's successful financially... the reason why Paramount hasn't decided was because they thought the movie was crap, the critics thought it was crap, and the audience thought it was crap. I doubt there will be a sequel, and if there is, it will be one of the biggest surprises of my life.

Oh I am buying llike 15 copies of this b**ch. Just to off set the balance of the haters.

& just to add some more a-hole sauce. I downloaded the cartoon for free y'all. What! Do something!

So, does the DVD/Blu-Ray have all the deleted scenes? If not, then it's a total waste.

lol... that clip with the dog is just beyond rediculous... and yet best presented my feelings while watching this horrible movie.

I knew I wanted my first rifftrax to be special

In the meantime, some of you guys might find this interesting:

It only has 10 minutes of deleted scenes. Shyamalan has already stated that this version of the film is 25 minutes shorter than his original cut. IMO unless the movie itself is 25 minutes longer there's no point in seeing it again (however, that rifftrax may be amusing).

I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would, but wow, that wasn't good. Talk about a big F U to the series.

This isn't some average "the graphics were kinda neat" type of story. This story, from the animated series, is one of the greatest stories told in the last decade, period. Avatar: The Last Airbender is probably the greatest kid franchise that will ever be created. (and in kid I mean like as young as you want, harry potter is older now, for example) Meaning, even if this movie was kinda enjoyable, it would still not be living up to it's potential. The movie was crap.
