The Librarians on TNT

Series premire this sunday 7 PM CST on TNT.

trouble is it's on the same time as Once Upon a Time

Were the TV movies any good? The trailer for the series looks fun and reminds me a bit of Warehouse 13.

Well there is an encore of it right after the 1st one ends.

FYI they are gonna show all 3 of the movies in the afternoon back to back.

Are the movies connected 2 the show ? Or are the movies its own thingy

well Noah Wyle was in all 3 and I think it's connected to the TV series, don't know. Won't be able to see it until next week when it re airs

Is Noah Wyle a series regular on the show or is he just in the Pilot to introduce the new cast?

I think if they go about this right it could become a decent hit. Stuff like Warehouse 13 and what not managed to get multiple seasons, so hey.

looks like he will be just in the pilot, not sure or maybe he will drop in from time to time

He does have that other series Falling Skies to do

I would only watch it for him. Been a fan of him since ER.

not for very much longer, since it's on it's last season...

I've got the encore of this set on my DVR. I've watched all three films and enjoyed them for the cheesy made-for-tv fare they are. If this series turns out to be good it may feel the void left by Warehouse 13's cancellation.

I agree Marvolo! I need my Warehouse 13 fix and this series could be just that. With Falling Skies ending next year Noah could be available to guest on future shows.

pretty good so far... into the second hour now...

Finally John Larroquette shows up.

watching the second run of the show, liking how it's going

Was going to watch the show but I see it's not on Amazon OR Hulu. So there goes that.

It looks like an OK replacement for WH13 ( maybe WH13 was inspired by the movies ? ).
I'm glad that Noah Wyle isn't the lead, I tried with Falling Sky and saw the previous three Librarian movies but I definitively don't like the actor.

yeah, I've watched the three movies and I'm sure that they were the inspiration for WH13... the similarities between the Library and the Warehouse is uncanny... and you're right, I really can't warm up to Wyle, so even though this series is a spinoff from his movies and he still plays a minor part in this series with him being on the road to locate the main Library, a once-in-a-while guest appearance is the best that his character should get at this point...

I watched the two episodes last night and thought it was great. It's hard not to compare this to Warehouse 13. This show also reminds me of Friday the 13th the series from back in the day.

I really like the cast and the chemistry is good between them. I hope to enjoy this for years to come.

I used to hate Noah Wyle from ER and I found it difficult to watch the Librarian movies but after Falling Skies I started to like him. He was great on this show and I'm certain we'll see guest appearances from him. Since they showed him in the preview for the season.
