Yep, Cyke is correct. I think Julie Bell did that particular painting.

That painting, along with a couple other Lizard pieces can be seen in the illustration book Superheroes, which features art by Bell and Boris Vallejo. Mostly art from trading card sets and bookcovers.

Yes, there will be a Lizard figure in an upcoming Spidey & Friends set. As will there be a Dr. Octopus and a Rhino.

Yeah. I was miffed when we got "Ultimate Rhino" instead of the real deal, and FAR more miffed when we got "Ultimate Green Goblin" instead of the real deal.

I notice that the Rookie and Experienced Heroclix Lizards are lighter green and have their tongues hanging out, while the Veteran Lizard (pictured above) is darker and has no protruding tongue.

Yeah, I saw the game preview with Lizzy on the MTV animated Spider-Man DVD. Looks like I'm gonna have to get it.

Here's an interesting fact you may or may not know: the semi-famous freak show staple Lizardman ( http://bmeworld.com/amago/ ) got the inspiration to turn himself into, well, a Lizard-man, because of the Lizard from Spidey comics.

So, hard as it is to believe, you're the SECOND most obsessed fan of the Lizard in the world.

I actually emailed Erik Sprague a couple of years ago to find out if he was a fellow collector of Lizard memorabilia, but he said he wasn't.... too bad.

I don't think I'll go that far in my Lizard obsession.
