The Lizard said:Well I guess that ended up being a weird joke of some kind. What a strange kid.
Anyway, I just recently found a copy of the rare British misprint issue of MacFarlane's Spider-Man #1 where the Lizard is printed in blue instead of green. Cool.![]()

LovetheLizard said:Hi, I never imagined there were others like me who adore the character of the Lizard. I am in the process of getting my "Spider-Man" room completed and on display I will have a section of the room solely devoted to our favorite Lizard. I promise to post the pics as soon as it is completed...I pray by december. Among my proudest Lizard collecting accomplishments have been my regular carded mego Lizard, my beautiful FF palitoy carded C-10 Lizard which by the way is featured in issue 134 of Tomarts, and my CGC 8.5 VF+ ASM #6(actually in my opinion should be at least a 9.2). I am 33 years old and have collected Lizard for the past 21 years. Just to give you guys my opinion, the two grails for collecting the Lizard are as followed...1.) carded regular palitoy Lizard (only 1 known to exist, pictured in MEGO book vol.3) and 2.) so far...the lone copy of ASM CGC #6 in 9.8! I also just purchased a rare toybiz classics Lizard prototype of the 2003 Lizard. I too am looking currently for any animation cells of the Lizard and want very badly the 67' cartoon cell. I hope to talk Lizard stuff with you all in the near future. PS. In a few months I am starting my own comics and collectibles business...www.lizardscomics.com![]()
LovetheLizard said:Hey Lizard, I noticed you have a repro card for your mego Lizard. There are actually 6 different packaging variations of the mego Lizard...
1.) misprint box the "e" in the word "the" is in the "L" in Lizard(type 1 fig was released in this box)
2.) regular print with circle(1st) mego logo (all boxes around $200-450)
3.) second mego logo(MC) box
4.) standard regular card...check out mego museum...the Lizard was NEVER produced on a Kresege card despite bad rumors(a MOMC sells for 10K or more)
5.) palitoy fist fighting lizard(sells for between $600(poor)-$4,500 MOMC)
6.) palitoy regular carded lizard(1 known to exist) (never sold)$$$$$$$
Also, I was just saying that I am not a fan of anything repro. I would rather just have a loose figure or not have it at all. I really admire your animated series prototype...wish I had that, lol. I hope this list serves you well...
LovetheLizard said:I also forgot to tell you I own the prototype for the spiderman and friends color change lizard.

Pretty nice looking except I would have liked a tail .With Randy Bowen saying how many classic Spider-Man villains are getting full size statue treatment nest year, maybe the Lizard will be one of them. The Mysterio full size looks great.
