Ahh! okay okay just kidding ehe :O

The bootleg surprised me a bit. The tone (at least what I could gather from the tone) actually seemed different from Zombie's usually thing. Parts of it were actually creepy. He needs to release that online quickly.

Trailer has been officially posted online by Rob Zombie. I can't post the link here because it might have some non-Hype friendly stuff in it. It looks awesome. Really different, really radical. I can't wait to see this movie!!! Oh BTW you can find the trailer by going to Zombie's Facebook page.

FINALLY! But that was more of a teaser than anything else, I want the trailer they showed during the festivals :/ In any case Sheri Moon looks gorgeous (as always)!

I also love the posters, struck me completely out of left field:

there was no blood, cussing,or nudity so it is fair game on the hype as far as i am concerned

Official Trailer

looks amazing

I love the imagery. I read an early review that has me worried but at least it will still look awesome , lol. I liked Halloween 2 though so I might be a Rob Zombie apologist.

I'm seeing Rob Zombie tomorrow night with Marilyn Manson. I'm super excited.

Side note, Zombie has been mentioning Kubrick from time to time as an influence on this film. In light of those comments, this cover is even more awesome.

(Manson as Shelly Duvall is great)

Bought that issue yesterday. It's worth a read. Lots of great horror stuff

The trailer looks great.

But if you see Manson w/ Zombie, just be prepared for Manson to be drunk (high on something too?), falling down, and forgetting the lyrics. Twiggy can't play guitar to save his life, messes up the first few seconds into the song. They're awful live. But then be prepared for Zombie to save the night and blow your mind.

I saw him on Mayhem and he had to receive oxygen several times during the set. It was a nice performance: he had several costume changes, burned the bible, nice projections/stage pieces, and had a really nice piece for "Sweet Dreams". The only downside was that the guitarist - I cannot remember if it was Twiggy or not - fell out of sync with the recorded tracks. I remember there was one moment when he stopped and the background track became audible and was still playing.

Still, I left the performance happy, as I was able to check one item off my bucket list. What was frightening was the number of Neo-Nazis and skinheads that showed up for the Slayer concert beforehand. The entire arena was packed, and when Slayer left, 85% of the audience left as well, thankfully.

Oh, and the lead singer for Killswitch Engage was completely plastered during the autograph signing.

Anyway, returning to the subject, I am excited about the film, and particularly Zombie's acknowledgment of Kubrick as inspiration. And the cover is awesome --- I am going to have to pick it up, when I return home.

I need to see this movie nao. Trailer was... oh my god.

Cool little interview about that movie. There might be spoilers, so proceed with caution.

Rob does good work when it comes to original films, not so much at remakes. I look forward to this.

I went to a double feature of House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects last night at the Skyview drive in. They are well suited for that environment.

Looking forward to this. I've criticized RZ since the Halloween remake and sequel, but I really enjoy his other films, so completely hoping this turns out to be good.

Did you ever see his animated film?

El Superbeasto? I caught part of it on HBO once. It was alright, but nothing too special if I remember right. Reminded me a lot of Ren and Stimpy in style.

El Superbeasto had its moments. I always thought it was really goofy that Chris Hardwick (who now hosts Talking Dead on AMC and who appeared in House of 1000 Corpses) did the music.
