"Come on bus, do your stuff!"

Anyone remember this? I rarely notice any mention of this show here, but I think it merits its own thread. Forget what I learned in school, this show gave me my education.

Trippy, whacked out teacher Ms. Frizzle endangering her student lives on a magical bus with a cute little lizard. This show was the business back in the day.

YES! You know when your theme song is a success when the lyrics involve:
"Navigate a nostril" and "You might get baked into a pie".

yea i rember it. do you rember camren sandieo game? it was really good. i also liked bill neye the scnice guy . do you rember him?

Bill Nye was legendary. I swear PBS had quality kids programming in the 90's. This magical show, Bill-Nye, Wishbone, and Arthur!

My favourite part of Bill Nye's show was when they would do songs near the end.

Science Rules.

Bill Nye the Science Guy:

I remember I first saw him in the Back to the Future Animated Series. There was an end segment at the end of every episode where Bill Nye would do the experiments while Christopher Lloyd was narrating about how that experiment was done.

Wow, after all these years I never even realized that Bill Nye was in the Back to the Future cartoon... That's something, I must say! :D

PBS did have some pretty good kids show. Good thing too, because there was one point in my childhood where PBS was practically the only station we could get in clearly with those crappy old rabbit ears (my parents eventually got a dish though, thankfully).

That Space episode is kinda incorrect now...

And PWW3R, it's all your fault for getting that song stuck in my head:cmad:

They still show Arthur on PBS.

The what? I know you're not suggesting that you didn't like this show.
I know you're not.:cmad:

According to my research, this show was awesome.:o
Alright, you weasly wimp?!:cmad:

This show was more than awesome Mr. Alliteration.:cmad:
My favorite episode is when Carlos was sick, so he couldn't go on the field trip that day. Instead of going on whatever they had planned, the class went on a field trip inside Carlos. Wicked.:word: They traveled along his blood stream and got attacked by white blood cells and eventually were sneezed out of him.

Man this show needs a DVD box set.

Hey, I would buy that.

How many seasons did they actually do?

Wishbone DVDs too.:csad:

Loved The Magic School Bus. "Take chances! Make mistakes! Get messy!"

i always liked the kid with the red hat best

I think that was Ralphie.

I think that was Ralphie.
:oYou're right. Ralphie always had that red cap. Carlos was Mr. Obvious all the time.

It's all coming back to me, they still show this on discovery kids by the way.

Oh, man. Nostalgia central.

MSB was an awesome cartoon. I really enjoyed the books, too.

I actually caught an episode the other day - they were learning how chicken eggs were made - and they actually showed the egg come out of the chickens hoo-ha. I was surprised they showed that back then.

Bill Nye was AWESOME! I loved watching that show. He has a new show on now, but quite honestly, it sucks.

Arthur was a little late for me - but I'd watch some episodes when I was taking care of my little brother - not a bad show.

Wishbone was cool too. Though, looking back, it was a pretty dumb idea. Have no idea how it wasn't laughed at.

They made us watch this in elementary school along with Reading Rainbow
