It looks like it's finally getting reprinted. I'll say it's about time, it's a good thing I waited and didn't spend the extra cash for it.

Edit: Just noticed, it won't be until January. That's a shame, but better than never.

Good. I've been hoping for this. Reading it on computer just isn't the same.

edit: And a story with Alan ****ing Scott?! Hot Diggity Damn.

It's great that DC is reprinting MWL and TKJ to compliment The Dark Knight.

First off, SWEET! :woot:

Second off, anyone know what the murder-mystery with Alan Scott is about?

If it was up to me, I'd release TKJ and MWL in one sexy hardcover with scripts, notes, and sketches. That'll be the day.

YAAAAAAYYYYY!:woot::woot::woot::wow::wow::wow::woot:

FINALLY!

Awesome, recently downloaded, read and loved it. But like Mister J said, reading it on computer just isn't the same.

About goddamn time.
pre-orderin' time!

ahhhh
Doug Mahke goodness... excellent, I might have to go and re-read The Mask to get in the mood. .

heh, i remember buying this book. i find it funny that so many people complained about not having it...but, why didnt you just buy it when it came out? oh, if i remember correctly, that alan scoot story was pretty good...but that was a damn long time ago, so i may be remembering wrong.

Possibly because they didn't know about it at the time? Or weren't into comics yet? Batman does pick up new readers all the time.

i was wondering why i couldnt find this damn book anywhere, not even freakin Comic-Con!!

ive been wanting this along with Killing Joke for about a year now

After looking for months for it everywhere, I actually bought it for 5 bucks at a comic convention. The guy who sold it to me had pretty much zero idea how rare it was. ...And now it looks like I'll have to pick up the hardcover just so I can place it next to my Year One hardcover. :woot:

I use to read Batman comics in the 90s then stopped for a long time. Didn't pick back up till the end of 05. So I missed the MWL craze. Anyway, this is great news. I've only read it on my cpu, absolutely loved it. Finally gonna get it on my shelf and best of all, Hard cover!!!!

Just a long wait now:oldrazz:

you can buy killing joke for like 5 bucks at any major bookstore.

Wrong. It's out of print, too. You will NOT find TKJ in a Borders or a Barnes and Noble. It is however, collected in The DC Universe of Alan Moore TPB.

I bought it when it first came out. Good story, but I don't like how they explained the Joker's motivation. Taking revenge on Gotham just because he fell into the chemicals doesn't seem to fit right with the character.

Awesome. TKJ and TMWL. Can't wait for these butes to come out.

This is good I had hard time finding TMWL, I'm glad that the other fans will get the hands on this graphical novel. :joker: :batty:

ah, thats right! i forgot they took it out of print once they came out with the alan moore compilation...which, by the way, everyone should buy. its fantastic.

I bought that best of Alan Moore trade paperback book or whatever it's called just for TKJ like a year ago. I read Killing Joke and have still yet to read the other stories in the book lol

???
Joker has attempted to destroy the city (and poison the resevoir) so many times its practically DEMANDED of the character. How can you say its out of character?
Any motivation is better than no motivation (which is exactly what hundreds of hack writers have resorted to over the years when writing the Joker)...
"WHY Joker!? Why the senseless killing?!"
"HAHAHAHA!"
PUNCH!
