The "Masters of the Universe" of this Generation?

I gotta be honest, this movie could go either way right now. I've seen things that could ruin this film, and I've seen things that could make it awesome. It's all really how you look at it, I guess.

No, though it's easy to see the similarities, it reminds me more of Mortal Kombat and hopefully it's equally as good or better than that movie was. What worries me is that it doesn't seem funny, and that's one of the major qualities of Dragonball, it's wacky sense of humor.

It's similar to MK in the fighting scenes, but everything else is different. And by that I mean that MK was actually pretty close to the source material. This movie, unforunately, doesn't seem like it is.

I finally saw the trailer and I am pretty impressed honestly with how the movie looks.

It looks like a weird hybrid of The Matrix and Transformers. Sounds good to me.

It looked waaaaaaaaay better than I expected it to and am delightfully surprised that piccolo is green. Now I am obligated to go see this film no matter what.

I mean, I gave Fantastic Four benefit of the doubt...at the very least I can afford to do that for Dragonball. I'll go see the $6.50 matinée. That's not too much, I mean...I spent more than that at Taco Bell last night.

Something is wrong with your sense of smell then, Street Fighter tried too hard to cram every person in the current SF game into that movie, they even went so far as to switch characters allegiances. Dee Jay never had any ties to M.Bison, Balrog was never Chun-li's cameraman or friend. At least in DB, Goku is still the hero, Roshi is still the master, Piccollo is still the villain.

it's going okay. i've been working a ton of hours at work but it's totally dying down now. i finally get a break. i had my first Saturday off in almost a year. My sister-in-law threw a pretty huge adult birthday party for me and my twin brother. alot of people and alot of drinks. it was so damn fun. i'll probably post pics on my myspace and facebook account.
