I am happy that they're better this season than they were last year. Hopefully this will be a trend, where they'll get better and better each season and will one day be better than they were in 1995-1997, 2000 and 2001.
 
According to Baseball Prospectus, the Mets' collapse is the 2nd worst in baseball history. They had a 99.8% chance of making the playoffs on September 12. If that doesn't dramatically shake things up I'm afraid of what it would take for it to happen.
 
#1 is probably the 1964 Phillies collapse. I'm so estatic that the Phillies finally made it to the playoffs. I've been to 42 games this year and yesterday was probably the greatest moment I experienced at a baseball game in my entire life. Victorino was drenching all the fans with the big hose the ground crew uses, and all the players came out from the locker room and celebrated with the fans. It was such a great moment. And today I went to the pep rally down in the city and that was loads of fun to. Can't wait for Wed. because the last time this city saw playoff baseball was 1993 and we all know how that went. GO PHILLIES!!!!

I just went and looked.

ALDS - TBS
NLDS - TBS
NLCS - TBS
ALCS - Fox
WS - Fox

Some games could end up on TNT if other games go to extra innings.

that's what i was thinking. man, i can't stand watching a yankees game on fox with tim mccarver in the booth. that's the only reason i can think of for them doing this. :cmad: :down
